You know what to expect from the Best Western chain and this one did not disappoint. Clean room, comfortable bed, hot shower and good service. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and gave us “a lovely room on the quiet side.” It was actually just a normal room - no frills or fancies but it looked over the courtyard instead of the street. The location for being near the station was terrific - a five minute easy walk.
With ref to the title, the hotel is situated in a very “ethnic” area which we loved because having lived in the Middle East, we were able to get great diner kebabs and wonderful fresh-made flatbreads straight from the fire oven from a local baker. The street was actually very quiet when we walked home at night. All restaurants and shops closed and very few people around.
Only downside was the extra charge of E20 for brekkie. I always think this is unnecessary and I think 20 Euros is rather OTT for a basic breakfast. We did not bother and got delicious baked goodies and coffee from local bakeries. More
