Stayed here for 4 nights across Oktoberfest weekend with three mates. Located in a residential area with a couple of supermarkets close by and the village centre about 15mins walk, although there's not a lot to it. Great for transport into central Munich with the ubahn and sbahn stations within 3 mins walk and the centre of town 10 mins away. If you're looking for action this isn't the place for you but if you want a decent base in a nice neighbourhood and don't mind travelling in, it's fine. Taxi is about €20 from the city centre.
It's essentially three rooms in an apartment with a shared bathroom although as long as you book the whole thing it's all self contained with a decent outdoor terrace at the back and a long narrow balcony at the front.
Main thing to be aware of is the "limited kitchen facilities" as they're described. There's a coffee maker, microwave, plug in hob, kettle, crockery, utensils and cutlery, but there's no actual kitchen space other than a small unit and a table in the hallway. The fridge is also outside of the apartment on the landing. There's no sink so washing up has to be done in the bathroom sink - not ideal.
Overall a decent apartment in a decent location but don't stay here if you're intending cooking or staying in a lot - the biggest bedroom is actually also the lounge.
Staff friendly and helpful and will do a shuttle transfer from the airport if required.
Weirdly there's a kindergarten on the ground floor but that wasn't an issue.
Me and my friends had a great stay here the flat is beautiful, nice rooms, nice bathroom, great balcony either side and very close to a station also right next to a supermarket. The flat was great value for money due to what was included however don't forget the other bits, the woman who lives underneath will regularly complain about noise when you aren't making any, she complained when we walked in at 8pm and all we were doing was talking. We were laughing and joking on the balcony during he day and aparantly that was too much for her, it was outrageous. To make things worse the gentleman who checked us in then came and threatened to chuck us out of the flat if we made anymore noise, he was nice to us to begin with but turned sour when he got an outrageous complaint. I would stay here again but only if I was on my own so I wasn't moaned at for any noise I made.
