Cute outdoor cafe/restaurant in the heart of the town of Coburg. A very nice place to grab a snack and a drink.

Hands down!! This restaurant serves the best Chilli Corn Carne! Its a must try for people who like their food a bit on spicy side. They have amazing keller beers.. This place has a very good vibe. The ambiance and food is superb.
Must visit!

My daughter and I were in Coburg for two occasions this month. Based on the good reviews, (and because my daughter loves a well-made burger) we visited the Hungry Highlander for dinner. What a great find! We actually had several dinners there over the course of our visits ( which is very unusual for us). We just really enjoyed the food and setting! The burgers are delicious, and we also tried the curry. Personally, I liked the spicy green curry best (it is not too spicy), but the curry with lamb and mango chutney was quite nice, too. The restaurant is centrally located in the old city. Open for lunch and dinner with a pause in mid afternoon. The exterior is unassuming, but inside it is charming in a rustic, simple way. I found the wood tables and simple decor very pleasing. When the weather is warm the courtyard is a delightful option. There are beer garden tables in the central area and smaller tables along a wood-beamed arcade. The kitchen is small and the ingredients are fresh which means that you need to allow a bit of time for your dining. But don't worry, there's an interesting selection of local beers to try while you wait! All in all a very nice local. Good prices, friendly service, tasty food, and a relaxing environment. Worth a visit (or two, or three)!

Great atmosphere and food. Well worth the visit. If you get a chance sit outside, even if it rains, there is enough cover out there.
Staff is very nice, food is fantastic and a great price - delicious!
During the two week stay, we went quite often, including to watch the UEFA 2016 and it was fun!
