We stopped her for a couple of nights and although we were between seasons it was quite busy and the town was vibrant. The hotel is only a couple of minutes walk from th pedestrian zone with all the shops & restaurants. The Zugspitz train station is also a few minutes walk as well as a couple of supermarkets.
We had pre-arranged parking and didn't move the car until we left. The staff were great and spoke excellent English which made things much easier. The breakfast was very good and is all local and organic.
Word of warning - DO NOT take your washing to Mueller's just up the road - they are a dry cleaners & charge dry cleaning pricesMore
