Booked 24 hours ahead in February this year. What a fantastic venue, food great and staff amazing. We went for meat fondue and melted cheese whotsit. Both really filling and plenty of good quality food. We had a two year old with four adults and all had a great time. Not cheap but nothing is in this town. The quality makes up for it. Thoroughly recommend.

A very tasty casserole at a sensible price. The only issue was the speed with which we received the food, no time to enjoy a glass of wine and there was no need as it was not busy.

After visiting this restaurant numerous times throughout the 2017/18 ski season our last visit will be our last!

We were shown to a table that was in a really poor position in relation to the front door, so every time the door opened we would have got a blast of cold air.
We asked to be moved and were shown to a small side table at the top of the stairs behind a fridge.

We received our food, and considering the restaurant is renowned for its casserole I was hugely disappointed.... hardly any meat in the pot, it was closer to soup.
To top that off we were never asked how our food was and the first time we spoke to a member of staff after placing our order was to pay the bill.

Service terrible.
Food underwhelming
Ambiance terrible.

Avoid!

We tried our luck and were fortunate. Service was fast and abrupt a very busy place and pleasing to see.
The selection on the menu was felt to be limited and the pricing was over the top. Especially the beverages. It is such a shame as if the prices were a little less I am sure people would drink a little more.
The photographer was a little over the top and would have preferred if he had not visited our table.

We wanted to haven dinner in a good local restaurant and experience Local cuisine and charm. That is exactly what this place has to offer. We had the raclette which was a cheese fest and was delicious. Kids had steak and chips which they enjoyed with a desert. Wine was good as well. Service was friendly and sitting next to the log fire made the whole experience complete.
