Jenny was so accommodating to our mixed party of singles and couples. The chalet is beautiful, brilliant location right next to the bus stop and allegedly ski in/out. We had a few adventures trying to ski in, with much hillarity, but not much success. The bus was so convenient from the rond pointe, we really neadn't have bothered! Fabulous food, and service from Jenny and Ellie. Great hot tub on the terrace. Tons of hot water, very comfortable beds, cosy lounge with log fire, clearly the best chalet holiday we have had. Thank you Jenny, we'll be back!

Room Tip: First floor for tall people, second floor for kids/ midgets, and those who don't mind wearing a ski helmet 24/7.

We stayed here with friends in January and had the best week. Great chalet, lovely and warm, log fire, hot tub, excellent food and wine, beautiful rooms. We were made to feel at home by the owner, Jenny, ably assisted by the ever smiling Ellie. Nothing was too much trouble. The location was perfect, just above the town, so peaceful nights, and a short ski down to the lifts. We skied hard, apres'd in town, returned on the free shuttle bus, hot tub before dinner and then "flumped" in front of the log fire for a relaxing evening with more wine. Perfect.
Drinks from an honesty bar at very low prices and an iPod dock made staying in a no-brainer anyway.
If we return to Val d'Isere, we will definitely stay here.
Thanks for such a wonderful week Jenny.

Chalet Genevieve is by far the cosiest most comfortable chalet we have stayed in. Jenny obviously cares a great deal about her guests comfort and enjoyment and nothing was too much trouble for either herself or Zoe. The beds are really comfortable and the view out of our bedroom window was breath taking. The hot tub, open fire, fabulous food, comfy beds and relaxed atmosphere makes this a great holiday home. You can ski from about 50 metres down the road, and can easily ski back to the same spot, or alternatively get the free bus which runs every fifteen minutes and stops right out side the door.

Ski Savoie run a wonderful and comfortable week's holiday for skiing in Val d'Isere. Delicious food, warm chalet, very clean, cosy fire, fab hot tub, and ski in/ski out for competent skiers. The bus to the village and the slopes stops right outside the front door. A great holiday and we will be going back!

We are a group of three who ski together every year.

This year we decided to go to Val D'Isere and started the usual hunt for a place to stay. We usually tend to go with the bigger companies and stay in a catered chalet, but luckily for us we stumbled upon Chalet Genevieve run by Ski Savoie Fayre.

All the communication with Jenny, who owns and runs the chalet, was fantastic, she couldn't be more helpful if she tried.

When we got there we were blown away. Its a beautiful chalet, very homely and totally relaxed, in fact there were only three of us staying there for most of the week we were there, so Jenny and her chalet girl joined us for dinner each night which was a really nice touch.

The chalet itself is in a great position. You have a short, 3 min walk to a point where you can ski straight down to the centre where the main lifts are and it is possible to ski right to the back of the chalet if you don't mind a bit of off piste, otherwise the ski bus will drop you right outside.

The real highlight of our week was Jenny's incredible cooking. The food was of a very high standard and the evening always started with an array of delicious canapes. I really can't rate the food highly enough, I'd have been pleased with this in a top London restaurant.

Other highlights, the chalet comes with a hot tub and if that doesn't sooth your calf muscles, Jenny even has a machine which will massage them for you.

Just as a final example of just how high the level of service you get at Chalet Genevieve is, I left something at the Chalet and when Jenny returned to the UK, she sent it back to me in the post.

If you are planning a trip to Val D'Isere then you should check this place out.

Room Tip: No tip needed, the rooms are all great.
