We did Tour du Mont Blanc. Stayed this hotel prior to the trek, stayed here during the trek and finished trek by returning to hotel after the trek. Budget Hotel with good sized rooms and very friendly Staff. Would recommend this hotel for budget minded travellers.

Room Tip: Be aware that train station is in front of Hotel. Also be aware that on weekends the bar has live music.

A good value hotel in central location opposite the station and a few minutes from the Aguille du Midi. Our room looked over the back of shops in the next street and towards Mt Brevant but that was quite OK. Beds and room comfortable, bathroom small but functional. Great stone staircase around an ancient lift adds character. All staff were extremely helpful. The only big downside is out of there control, the bar across the road was great on Tues night when we drank there, Wed it changed to techno disco extremely loud until midnight. As it was hot summer we had to leave the windows open. Not sure how many nights the music is on.

Room Tip: Views both back and front (Mt Blanc) are good so no real preference

Stayed for four days at this central located hotel.Had nice rooms with good views. A bit rundown and rustic but considered good value. The breakfast is excellent and the personnel very friendly and helpful.I can recommend the Thursday night BBQ for 16€.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the station and the gaciers.

This Hotel is old with plumbing smells that need to be addressed. We were allocated a good sized room overlooking the back , but the smell from the drains in the bathroom were so awful that we asked to change rooms. Throughout our stay when going from the bar to the stairs the same smell was evident in the lift and corridors. We were transferred to a larger room with a balcony with a view of Mont Blanc. Our room had a wet room shower which is impractical if you wanted to go back and dry your hair or have a shave. The hotel had a good breakfast buffet hot and cold and this will set you up for a good days hiking or skiing. The staff were helpful and you can buy lift passes at reception. Car parking is free but soon fills up. If you are arriving by train the hotel is just opposite. You'll need to book your evening meal when checking in although the bar food is very good. With a choice to suit most pallets. This Hotel is central to all the ski lifts within walking distance as are all the shops and restaurants . A good base to explore from in Summer.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the front of the hotel have small balcony with good views of mountains.
