We occasionally had coffee at Josephine on our arrival day and decided to return in the evening for oysters. And we ended up spending half of our dinners there though we normally prefer to try different places. Great choice of oysters, seafood and traditional French cuisine. Especially good were foie-gras, scallops with chest nut purée, onion soup, burger and crepes (according to our kids) And best cream-brûlée in the valley, for sure! Nice touch - branded Villeroy&Boch china. Walls of the cafe are decorated with great old pictures of the resort. Service speed is absolutely ok for cafe situated on the most busy and tourist street in town.
We visited also a few Michelin-recommended places in Chamonix and after comparing them with Josephine believe it’s definitely worth a higher rating on Tripadvisor!
