“Nice Plat for Lunch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 March 2011

We were looking for something nice but not trop cher and this place filled the bill. Perfectly cooked (not over-cooked) salmon, rice, veggies, some sort of savoury mousse, excellent bread, lovely side salad, all in a very nice presentation with petite cafe's under 30Euros.
Very friendly waiter who speaks quite good English too!
We'd definitely eat there again.

“Food that is a style all of its own”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 September 2010

We ate here on September 8 2010. The staff are very attentive - always checking tables and smiling some speak quite good English if you are struggling to understand the menu.

The food is unusual in that each main course appears to have the same basic accompaniments - a cold tomato soup in a small glass (similar to gazpacho), hot baked guacamole in a small dish, a green salad, french fries. The mains were duck with a fig tart (excellent) seafood, steak and lamb - all very good.

We enjoyed the evening - but you probably wouldn't go two nights close together as the unusual side dishes would seem a little repetitive - but for one evening it's great!.

“we had a great time”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 September 2010

we loved it !
food is plentiful, imaginative, well cooked and for a fraction of what it could be charged at.
wines are ok to good, service is ok to good too.
must say we chose it only because it was one of the most crowded ... we were lucky too!

“Truly, sadly, awful.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 August 2010

We were there the first week of July. It wasn't expensive and the service was pleasant., but all of the food we were served had been prepared hours, if not days, before. Prawns that were mealy, fish that was dried out... and the menu was very, very touristy, totally predictable. I am stunned that there are good reviews on the site. Too bad, we wanted to like it!

“Our first dinner in St.Remy”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 June 2010

We choose this restaurant on advice from the owner of our B&B in St.Remy.
Very good one. Pleasant evening, good food and very kind people, price not too high.
Let try it if you are in St.Remy.
