I booked the Hotel Cigaloun following the good reviews. The hotel is nicely decorated and I can't say I had a bad stay, but my room had some faults that make me say that the hotel is overrated, at least for my experience.
The main fault was noise isolation: no noise from the street, but in my room you could hear other guests entering and leaving their room and you could here very clearly other guests having showers.
It was difficult to set hot/cold water in the shower.
I took a double room for me only so it was really ok. For two people it would have been quite small.
The bed mattress was of the hard type, which I like (good for my back).
I must say that the guy at the reception was nice and helpful.
Breakfast is normal, maybe it can be rated as "good" for French habits. I would have liked some yogurt or something pro-biotic, most hotels offer that for breakfast.
The hotel is is a nice central area at walking distance from all antique buildings.
