We had a lovely stay at Mas des Etoiles. Our room was comfortable and beautiful, the area was quiet and rural. Our hosts - Francois and Annette- were amazingly hospitable and entertaining. Tres gentile. We also enjoyed meeting other guests from USA, Germany, and Brazil, either over breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening.

Our stay at Mas des Etoiles was everything we hoped for and more.
It is located a few miles from Gordes, just far enough from the main road to be quiet and to feel secluded. It's easy to find.
Francois, our host, was already walking from the front door to greet us warmly as we were parking. He showed us the house and our room and clearly explained the services and facilities.
He provided a detailed map of the region with interesting sights to see. When we told him we were interested in driving through the nearby mountains (hoping to escape the heat), he provided a detailed set of driving directions. He recommend a number of restaurants, all of which proved excellent.
Breakfast was served at 8:30 AM in a covered patio looking out on a beautiful garden. It included a freshly baked pastry, bread, homemade preserves (I loved the fig jam with honey), cheese and cold cuts, coffee, fruit, yogurt, and a soft-boiled egg.
Francois and his wife Annette shared breakfast with us, making us--and the other guests--feel part of their home. They are fluent in English (and, I think, several other languages). They are great conversationalists, and we came to enjoy our morning visits.
The pool was a bit on the cool side, but because of the heat (in the mid-90s) we found it refreshing.
The room was good-sized and comfortable. Very pleasantly decorated. There was a large bathroom with a great shower.
Lots of free parking.

Very good B&B in Lubéron. Annette and François are real originals and they help with recommendations on tours / restaurants / visits. L'apéritif is served every day for all guests next to the pool. We really enjoyed staying at Le Mas des Etoiles.

My partner Paul, and I are about to depart tomorrow from this wonderful place. This morning, François took me in his car to learn a 10km running route away from the busy traffic. It turned out to be one of the loveliest morning runs I have ever completed.

Returning home to the delicious breakfast of baguette, goat cheese, gourmet homemade jams and soft boiled eggs was delightful; made only better by the lively company and laughter around the table. François and Annette pour their heart and soul into this place and we are the greatful recipients of their hospitality. Thank you.

We spent 4 wonderful nights at Le Mas de Etoiles. The area is spectacular and there is plenty of interest for all in the surrounding area. Francois and Annette are just fantastic. Nothing is a bother to them and all they want is to ensure that your stay is just what you need. They have produced a booklet which they provide to all guests which highlights all the activities and things to see and do in the area. They will provide helpful tips and give advice where necessary. The B & B is just fantastic as its clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast on the covered terrace was something we will remember for a long time especially during the cold winters. Our break away was just what we needed and made that bit more special by Francois and Annette.
I would recommend this B & B to anyone looking for a relaxing comfortable break in an unforgettable area.

Room Tip: All rooms are good
