Having got to know Nice and the surrounding area, I realise more and more just how perfect this place is .It is just up the road from the Port which has superb restaurants for locals in the back streets and all areas of Nice can be easily accessed ..It is also set back from the coast road that takes you into villefranche,Beaulieu and St Jean Cap Ferrat easily reached by bicycle.

The rooms at the back are quiet ,spacious and the top room has great views .Definitely pay a little extra for the larger bedrooms !!

There is parking and a pretty court yard at the back for having breakfast or catching up with wifi (which has worked perfectly for ten days-bonus !)

The owner is very pleasant ,speaks perfect English and is extremely helpful .The hotel is just right for the price bracket it is in .It will grow on you more and more .

A small hotel close to the bay, not far from the old town of Nice by walking (about 30 mins). A very friendly hotel owner, we liked him a lot. He should put more more money in to invest and make the place better and better. Cleaning could be better tough.

Hotel Villa La Malouine is a very quaint, peaceful place to stay. Simple, but clean and nice. Beautiful outdoor gardens for the free breakfast. The owner / manager (Nicholas) is very kind, helpful and speaks excellent English. The location of the hotel is an easy 5-10 minute walk from the port area, with many restaurants and shops. This 10 minutes is perfect, because it means that the hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood. The old town and main beach are only 10 additional minutes walk past the port (or cheap taxi ride). Overall, excellent find. Hidden gem!

very good hotel by the beach and the harbour; We were very pleased to discover this tiny hotel with less than 10 rooms in a quiet area.no noise at all ! very rare.the breakfast is simple but no importance was given by us as long as the place is enjoyable.the room was big and the balcony onto the garden was a plus.
thank you
