This apartment has everything you require on a holiday, it is in a brilliant location, 10 minutes walk from the beach and 5 minutes walk from the station and it has a great sized terrace.
Hotel Cler has friendly staff, clean modern rooms with all you need, and is on the perfect street with bars, restaurants and great shops. Perfect location very central to Paris, Champs Elysees is walkable across the bridge and there are several metro stops close by.
This is my first time booking a holiday apartment through Tripadvisor. It was a seamless process from start to finish. This was mainly thanks to Kate who manages the Baquis apartment. Our flight arrived in very early in the morning and Kate couldn't have been more accommodating. She met us at the apartment and was so welcoming. She presented us with 'The Book'! This book contained all the information you could possibly need for your stay in Nice. It had everything from opening times of the local Supermarkets to every type of trip or excursion you could think of and Kate took the time to go through the book with us. This became our Bible!
The apartment was spotless and had everything you could ever need for a holiday break. There was even shopping bags in the cupboard. The sun terrace was fantastic. There was plenty of space for the two sun loungers and the table and chairs, which were perfect for alfresco dining. It was lovely to sit out and catch the evening sun after a day of sight seeing.
We stayed during a heatwave, Lucifer they called it so the air-conditioning was vital. The apartment is located in the Musicians Quarter and this is very central to everything. The train station and The Promenade des Anglais are moments away. There is also a wealth of restaurants and shops on your door step. The apartment building is well kept and quiet. The Neighbours we met coming and going were all very pleasant.
Will definitely be making a return visit. Had a fantastic stay.
P.S - A Note to anyone planning a trip on the trains (best way to get around), there are only ticket machines in the local station and they only take coins or credit cards. Bizarrely they don't take notes. Just be careful the machine decided it didn't like my visa debit card and locked my pin. All fun and games.
