We stayed here for a week .Beforehand we had exchanged emails with Hilary the manager of the flat. She was extremely helpful - even sending information via the post. We were met, as others have been, at the bus stop and taken to the flat. I did think a first that we were a long way from civilisation but after a walk around ourselves soon found this not to be the case. We were very close to Garibaldi Square and the lovely gardens. The flat itself is what I would consider to be a typical French apartment. Really nicely furnished with the added benefit of two sets of doors opening onto balconies. It was very very hot when we were there and even having these open didn't really generate much air. Not sure how easy it would be to have air con for those very hot months. Anyway, we managed. We did think that we would be doing some cooking but only managed one meal as it was very hot in the kitchen. There are lots of delicious places to eat roundabout and easy access to the tram service for getting about. We were also quite near the lovely new gardens with their fantastic childrens play area. We dont have small children but could really appreciate the work that has gone into these sculptures. Hilary will recommend some very good restaurants but I would suggest you try Chez Acchiardo - real family feeling and good value tasty food.
We had a great week in a beautiful city.

From the moment Hilary met us at the bus stop we knew we wouldn't be disappointed. The flat is lovely, clean, well equipped with a welcome pack that contained wine, tea and coffee, milk, bread and butter as well as nibbles. The area is well served by cafes, restaurants and shops and the view from this 5th floor flat is just lovely, over the rooftops of Nice and towards the hills at the back. Hilary was so helpful - she really wants people to have a good time and gave us loads of info on where to eat and what to see and do. We would certainly go back to this lovely flat.

This apartment was the perfect stay for our holidays in Niza. It felt like being at home, it's so cosy and has a great view over the city. It is well located as well, 15 min walk to the old centre and the promenade. Hilary was such a wonderful host since the beginning.
This flat is great for a couple or a family of 4. We really loved the welcome pack as well, a great gesture from the host. We would definitely stay there if we go back!

Hilary was an absolute delight! She met us at the train station and proceeded to walk my husband and I to our apartment. She showed us how to work everything and we were off to a wonderful week in Nice. The apartment is very "french" and appreciated all the touches.

We enjoyed every aspect of the apartment and it was located very convenient to all exploration of Nice. There were great restaurants right around the corner along with grocery stores and ATM.

It is located near a hospital so the sirens can be a bit loud. They do not, thank goodness, turn them on at night! We slept very well.

We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it!
