we were staying in a house in a small village which meant we could not drink and drive to go out for a meal, so we decided to go and stay at a hotel not too far away, just for one night. cagnes sur mer was one of the closest resorts to where we were, we found this hotel with no reseach just going on what it looked like. we were pleasantly surprised. clean friendly relaxing, lovely beds, cheap, we had a fridge, oven, hob.microwave,sink.and crockery,as we were in the aparthotel. through the little garden, it only cost 140 euros for three of us, where in this area could you get that sort of value, had a fun stay. would recomend. staff we met were very pleasant and helpful.

Room Tip: only one small moan pillows were really uncomfortable.

A very nice small hotel, right on Cagnes-Sur-Mer promenade.

The hotel has been recently renewed and it's pretty modern.

It's clean, it has the elevator, it's right in front of the sea, it has a very cosy and nice bar.
Reception was fast and smooth even though the lady and the guy I found there were unable to give suggestion on what to do in Cagnes Sur mer on a Sunday or a Monday night or also give suggestion on where to go to have a nice dinner (being a solo traveller!).
I think it is worthy to pay the little surcharge for the seaview!
Reading the previous reviews on tripadvisor I avoided having breakfast there ...in any case it's plenty of places where to go!
Watch out not to loose the room badge or bringing the towel to the beach and forget it there ...otherwise you will be charged!
Bathroom is big, no shower cap provided.
The room has AC but itis small in comparison to the size of the bathroon, ...being alone was alright!
Bed was so comfy!!!
Free wi-fi, pretty fast connection!
The bed is really comfy!

Room Tip: ...get a sea-view!

We had two nights at the Aeva, which was out five month old boy's first experience of abroad, and he loved it! It's close to the airport (but still a hefty taxi fare - I can't think of many places on earth where taxis are more expensive...) and right on the beach - though there is a main road in between which is noisy. The hotel, rooms and restaurant are all spotless and quite modern in styling. Now while the hotel is good - comfortable, with friendly efficient staff - it is the restaurant that makes it. We had two fabulous dinners, breakfast was good and not just what you often find in France - a tired re-heated croissant or two and thin coffee - but substantial and varied.

Now of only the weather had been better and the digger hadn't been 'amenaging' the beach from the crack of dawn...

Our room was very tiny but quiet. We stayed for about one week. It is a no frills kind of place, but it does the job. Because you will likely spend the majority of your time out, the room size doesn't matter much. Other travelers experienced issues with the air conditioning, but it worked fine for us as did all the other amenities. There are no extras in the room (no in room coffee or tea, mini fridge...) so that is worth knowing. Breakfast is over-priced and never quite fully stocked but there was always enough variety to get us by (bread, cereal, milk, coffee, tea, cheese, yoghurt). The service at the front desk was good and polite. The beach is small but a real fun place to sit for some sun or a drink. In the end, the location is the best reason to stay here.

Room Tip: 307 is on the back and it is quiet

Wanted to avoid the airport type hotels for our first night in Europe and this lovely little hotel reviewed well, it was excellent value and easy to find. Typically for France the room was on the small side but the bathroom was huge. We had great views of the ocean from our room.

I also had one of the best steaks i've ever had at the attached restaurant, the dish was called "Steak Tataki (sp?)" highly recommend you dine in if you like steak.
