The Food: The Oysters: Superb!!! Fresh- big and tasty. Perfect served in/and on the "old way" classiscal french cuisine. First we(me and my son) ordered 10 of them, but my hungry son, "The Little Wolf" ordered half a dousin in addition. He is young, but he enjoyed the taste and smell of a young fresh girl...No need to get into more in details... The wine was perfect - a bottle Sancerre -. The waiter - perfect!!! We also got two perfect absinthes + two big portions of moulines with perfectly fried french fries - not in the MCdons way, so to speak. Plus something "On The House". of course...The bill was not at all overpriced. Very good value for money. In addition a very good atmospheremix of people from France and other countries. Highly reccommended. A voutre santé!!! Best regards from monsigneur André.

We went there with few friends (didnt book in advance), sat outside first then inside as one of our friend was a bit cold. It was no problem at all as it was not full then. We had oysters, salmon, ray, chocolate fondant. The salmon i had was so so (i live in Sweden so maybe it was hard to compete :). My friends loved the oysters and their fish, mine was quite good too. Chocolate fondant was a bit cold though. The terrasse is nice ,nothing fancy but nice to sit in the middle of the square if the temperature is not too cold. Staff was very nice and helpful.

This is the place to save for your last meal in Antibes. In front of the restaurant you can see your possible dinner in the shellfish cases. Entering you get the feeling you are inside a large sailing ship, complete to barrel stave ceiling with a mast and unfurled canvas sails. Then there is the food. Excellent selection of local and ultimately fresh shell and other fish. Service is friendly and helpful. Portions are ample. It is very popular so seating is cramped and reservations a good idea but not mandatory in off season.

We ate magret de canard for lunch a couple of weeks ago, and it was delicious. The portion of duck was very generous. It was a very warm, sunny day, so we ate outside and enjoyed the bustle of a busy midweek autumn day in the old town of Antibes, where l'Oursin is situated.
