We've eaten here a few times over the past few years and when we are with friends visiting Avignon we book a table here. This time when we visited we were lucky to get a table as a large group had booked most of the restaurant!
All of us had the Menu Saveurs du Sud - not because it was the cheapest option but because we could all find a starter, main course and dessert that we wanted. For starters between us we had the fresh goats cheese salad, the duo of gazpacho (tomato and cucumber) and the tartare de st jacques a la mangue (scallops and mango tartare) followed by the cod crumble served with a risotto and vegetables and lamb chops with potatoes and vegetables. We had the chocolate dessert, lemon meringue tarte followed by cheese and coffees. The set menu is 32,90 euros and you really do get your moneys worth here. The service, regardless of the fact they were full was impeccable. We will be going back... ;-)

This restaurant was recommended to us by a local and the entire evening was enchanting, right down to the friendly people at the next table who offered to take our picture. When we arrived the place smelled gorgeous - of Provencal lavender of course. Candles were lit and there was the relaxing sounds of a waterfall and the whole ambience and atmosphere was just perfection..
The food was amazing, I started with Foie Gras which was the best I had in France, and I have had lots! Then a steak done to perfection. Our waiter was excellent and luckily for us he spoke perfect English. The restaurant was busy and he was working out front in his own and was so pleasant and not flustered. We tried to go back the next evening but they were closed that night. The waiter also kindly loaned us an umbrella which we left at our hotel for him. I am definitely going back.

Our bicycling group ate dinner here and it was quite a memorable experience. The food was interesting and not your standard fare. Indeed, the owner served us with great care and pride. What a lovely meal we all shared ... and isn't that what it's all about?

Our Ciclismo Classico bike tour took us to this out of the way place. We had a wonderful meal and a wonderful introduction to our fellow travelers. The meal was well prepared and seasoned to perfection, each course was served with graciousness and practiced hospitality while the ambiance was warm, inviting and visually interesting. I am not sure about the price/value relationship since I didn't have to pay but my impression was that the meal was a good value.

We were too late for the special price lunch time menu but undeterred we decided to accept the offer of an a la carte menu. I enjoyed fig and fois gras, then roast duck with honey and berry sauce and a delicate range of desserts. We were delighted with the range of food. The service was attentive. Other diners were enjoying the food just as much as we were. The restaurant was pleasantly decorated with attention to detail with clever use of lighting , screens and carefully hung drapes. Flowers in generous bunches added to the pleasant ambience. The experience was entirely pleasurable. We enjoyed a leisurely and belated lunch.
