Our hotel made the reservations and we were not disappointed. I started with a delicious homemade smoked salmon appetizer that was out of this world, and my husband loved his steak tartare. We both had the Monk fish Casulet that was also very nicely prepared. We both said it was it was another great meal with a lovely bottle of wine that they recommended. I would not miss this place if you are going to Avignon and want a great meal that is reasonable priced.

This place is tucked away, but, quite close to the main square.Starters, Main & Dessert for 26 euro. Try the homemade Foi Gras, sliced duck breast for main then Pistacio sweet for dessert ! Finally a decent bottle of red for 20 euros. Well worth a visit I think. Staff are friendly including the Chef. Prices are reasonable compared to London...

We came across this restaurant by chance, on a street that is away from the crowded tourist center of Avignon. It appealed to us for its stylish, modern appearance and also for the inventive menu posted outstide. Once seated by the very friendly staff, we had a delightful evening. First of all, one of the unusual pleasures was the quiet. Even though almost every table was occupied, it was not noisy. The appetizers were first-rate. My wife had courgettes grillées stuffed with hummus and anchovy cream and I had a tasty variation on a classic, boudin noir aux pommes. The apples had been cut into julienne strips with white beans on the bottom of the bowl and little rounds of boudin on top. We both had the duck breast with orange sauce--an excellent choice. The duck was cooked just right (pink) and the sauce was not sweetened but had the concentrated natural taste of the orange (avoiding the common mistake of smothering the duck with sugar). The wine list is varied and well priced, featuring, naturally, Rhone Valley wines. We were very happy with our bottle of Cairanne. So we found everything to our liking: atmosphere, service, food and drink.

Stumbled on this restaurant by chance and really impressed. Good wine and service were all fantastic. Definitely a cut above your usual tourist fare but not expensive.

Our concierge forgot to make a reservation for us at the #1 rated restaurant on TA so we had to find another place to eat. We crossed the street to this little gem and had one of the best meals/evening out of our 3 week trip. The staff was very friendly, helpful and patient with our boisterous 4-some. We all tried different appetizers and main dishes from the menu and we all agreed that this was one of our best meals. The atmosphere is very relaxed and is our #1 restaurant in Avignon!
