This hotel is advertised as a 5-Star facility - it is really a 4-Star hotel
We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and, after the very poor junior suite we were first shown, were comfortably accommodated. The staff were friendly, and helpful with a quaint touch of Provincial charm that is without the professional crispness of a 5-Star Paris hotel. The hotel is in a converted medieval convent, located just outside the Roman town walls of Arles; however, very close to the Roman structures.
Parking was efficiently provided by the hotel at Euros20/day.
The restaurant was not up to the standards of a 5-Star restaurant.
The whole hotel is more like a 4-Star facility but charging 5-Star central Paris rates. We moved from a good 5-Star hotel, located 200 m from the Louvre where we paid slightly less than the rate charged by the Jules Cesar in Arles. Out in the provinces, this hotel should charge 50% of the rate charged by a 5-Star hotel in the very heart of Paris, not slightly more.More
