A great tour!! We spent a wonderful day with Sarah touring the Luberon Perched Villages. Each village we visited had a unique story and absolutely amazing views. We learned so much about the area - the history, the people, food and wine. Our lunch stop in one of the villages was one of the best meals of our stay in Provence. Sarah is an exceptional guide and you are guaranteed great memories if you have the opportunity to take one of her tours.

We had an amazing day! Our group of four, along with two very amiable young women, set off with Sarah in mid-September to discover the lovely Provence fishing village of Cassis. We had a great plan for our half-day tour when we set out, but we had no idea at the time of the wonderful surprises in store for us! There was some sporadic rain that day and it was a bit cool, so when we signed up for our boat trip to the Calanques, there were few others looking to go out on the Mediterranean. After waiting a bit for our boat to fill up, we set off with only the seven of us in tow. It was as if we had hired a private boat! Our exploration of the Calanques was so fascinating - and due to the slow day, and our enthusiasm(!), our wonderful boat captain offered to extend our voyage further out to view some additional Calanques! Sara then gathered the six of us together to tell us that, if we agreed, this would extend our trip a bit (in terms of our time, not our fee). She then added that, if it was ok with us, we could stay and have lunch in Cassis before moving on to see a spectacular view of the sea and town. We all happily agreed! After probably over-tipping our delightful Boat Captain, we sat down in a wonderful dockside restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed one of the best seafood meals of our trip! After lunch, we drove up to the high cliff of Cap Canaille that overlooks the area and to our great pleasure and surprise, saw a small group of rock climbers repelling down the dizzying cliffside. We couldn't stop taking photos of ourselves in front of this amazing vista, nor could we resist getting those courageous climbers in the background. I heartily applaud Sarah for saying yes to the many opportunities presented to us that day and for asking our permission to take advantage of them all. I highly recommend Sarah Pernet as an exceptional and delightful guide. She gave us a day we'll never forget and went far and above what was initially planned. I now consider her my number one contact in Provence and will not hesitate to plan our next adventure at the first opportunity! Here's wishing that your adventures in Provence with Sarah will be just as magical!

I really loved this tour, mainly because the villages we visited were so beautiful and picturesque. We first went to a lookout point to take photos of Gordes which had a killer view but was a bit disappointing due to the increased presence of real estate agents that swarm the town from what I gathered. Next, we headed to my personal favorite, Roussillon which was the very first one we got to explore. It was an all red/orange town, mainly because of the ochre which was mined here. We also had a nice lunch in Lourmarin which was one of the five perched villages. The tour proceeded briefly stopping by Ansouis, Cadenet and Cucuron where a scene from “A Good Year” was filmed. Personally, I’d prefer to have just visited 3 of them (Roussillon, Lourmarin and perhaps Ansouis or Gordes) and spend like an hour each village to explore and take photos and hopefully end the day with two wineries. We capped our day at Chateau La Coste which is an artsy museum/winery. It’s very sleek and modern and wine tasting was free! I would have loved to explore another traditional winery to compare the two. Nevertheless our guide was a great driver and informative. Sarah was very nice and soft spoken, I wish we had more time to get to know her but she showed us a a great deal with the time we had. I hope you try this tour and if luck has it, you can customize your tour to your liking.

We did the 3 day tour of Provence with Sarah. From Cassis to Luberon Vilage to Arles. It was all enjoyable. Sarah was informative and pleasant. I had hurt my leg prior to the tour and she made allowances for us. Near St Remy, we also visited Carrieres de Lumieres and it was an interesting and amazing experience.
In addition, Sarah made very good recommendations for food. At all the restaurants we stopped at for lunch, we loved it . We reckoned one of our best meal was in Cassis.
Thank you Sarah for making our experience unforgettable .

My wife and I recently toured Provence and had Sarah give us two days of private tours. The first day was about Van Gogh and involved mainly St. Remy and Arles. The second day was the hilltop towns of the Luberon. Sarah was a font of information and was a delight to be with. She made our time in Provence wonderful! Most highly recommended!! Mark and Benita
