I was very pleased with my two night stay here. My room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The bar on the ground level I thought was good and ideal for a drink before heading to bed. Location wise it was great, if you are traveling to or from the airport the bus stop for the bus to the airport is only a few minutes walk (commerce street stop) and it cost 9euro, the train station isn’t too far away either around a 15 min walk but if you have a lot of baggage you might want to get a taxi there (that is what I did. There are a lot of good restaurants within a short walk from the hotel and as are a number of historical sites. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

The room had no furnichures, no place for your clothes, the shwoer was excellent but the bath has no space, there Arent any chairs in the room. No Minibar.The Bar of the Hotel has a very poor Service, in the hotel thare are not even one Computer for the guest .Very poor

I had a confirmed reservation but they performed overbooking (it was August). The alternative proposed was to go to a lower category hotel (it cost half of the price). A complete disaster. I will never recommend a Mercure. Incredible...

We arrived by car and had great difficulty in finding the Hotel . We had to enlist a local passer-by who walked me from where we had parked our car through the town centre to the Hotel . After checking in we were informed that we had to enter the pedestrian section of the town via a bollard system (we were never told this on booking ) We drove to the hotel and parked the car and went to our room . We had a dirty cup and towel which was very quickly changed by housekeeping . We also had a very smelly loo which smelt of stale urine . We also found that the Bathroom door would jam closed which could have been a problem ,also the shower would not stay up at head height . We asked for these items to be put right and after dinner we retuned and was told that all had been put right !! oohh no they had not so we asked to see the Manager in the Morning as it was getting late . In the morning we were apologised to by the assistant Manager and we had our Parking refunded . It was a great place to stay but spoiled by housekeeping that let the stay down .
