We enjoyed Le Mans more than I expected, and while the hotel is nothing too special, it's a great location, making everything in Le Mans within easy walking or tram distance. All in all, a nice base for exploring a charming city. Dont miss the Nuit des Chemieres, where they project scenes on to the cathedral and elsewhere. There's also a nice farmer's market by the cathedral on Sunday mornings.

Want to find when you arrive that your rooms have been sold to a higher bidder look no further than this hotel.
We bookead four twin rooms for a pleasant stay in Le Mans and watch our favourite sport the 24hr Le Mans race. We arrived to find the hotel denying we had booked even though we had a printed booking from Travel Republic who arranged this via Hotel Rooms .com. They further insulted us by saying that they could find us a House but would charge us €19:50 per person per night knowing that the Travel Republic had done this for us.
We had no confidence with this arrangement and we back 27k to a camp site who were excellent and found room for us. This campsite was great good food good accomadation good prices. The site is Campingduvieuxmoulin72@gmail.com look them up they are in La Chartre Sur-Le-Loir well worth it.

The hotel is good, its what it says basic and easy. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

The breakfast is good and made on the premises.

The rooms are number up well and are a fair size, the beds are a good size and very comfy. The toilets are a little small but its ok for a short stay.

The tv is in front of the bed and at a good height to watch.

The warddrobe is a little awkward as only one side opens but can be got around.

The main window in the room opens fully so if you have kids beware of this.

The hotel is situated in a side street a stones throw from the centre of Le Mans. There is a multi-storey car park which you pay for but if you are lucky you may be able to park on the road where you can park for free between 7pm - 9am.

The reception is 2 floors up. The receptionist spoke some English but I wouldn't say they were fluent. The rooms are reasonably clean but very small. The main difference between this and Formula 1 is the en-suite bathroom and toilet and it's 'in town' location. Premiere and Classe are two words I would not associate with these hotels. The rooms are very basic and incredibly small and cramped. The breakfast is very basic, i.e. bread, rolls, cereal, preservatives, fresh fruit, juice & coffee/tea. Nothing exciting and certainly not worth €5.90 apart from the convenience. They do not even provide plates for the bread.

The decision you have to make when choosing Premiere-Classe above Formula 1 Hotels is whether en-suite facilities are worth paying double the price.

Room Tip: Choose a different hotel
