Three of us visited this restaurant between Christmas and the New Year.
First impressions were very good. The Maitre d' (or owner) arranged a good table and made us feel welcome. We didn't see him again however though he was about.
The amuse bouche was excellent, very tasty. The wine list though not extensive, had some interesting wines which were well served. The entrees we also very good.
However after that, things went steadily downhill. Both the veal and the steaks were tough and the steaks were not cooked as requested.
Though the restaurant wasn't busy, the two staff were less and less visible, preferring to chat in the kitchen service area. The cheese was ok and the deserts were also good.
Would we go back; probably not. Maybe the restaurant had an off day after a busy Christmas?
