We had the Tulip room for a night in July. Despite the hot weather, the room was cool and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious--fresh croissants, excellent coffee, jam, butter, all the goodies. Our hostess was very helpful and sold us tickets to Monet's house, which admitted us before the big crowds arrived.

We had another memorable stay at Le Clos Fleuri - Danielle and Claude made us very welcome and were very happy to help with advice and tickets for all the local attractions (Monets garden, the Museum of Impressionists) as well as booking tables in the local restaurants.

The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfasts are lovely - the whole place is a little oasis away from the hub-bub of tourists that inevitably get drawn to Giverny. The great thing is you can leave the car at the B&B and walk to all the local attractions.

Room Tip: The garden rooms are cool and shady during hot weather

We stayed at Le Clos Flori for one night on our first stop of a 2-week trip through Normandy. We could not have asked for a more perfect start. The property is very private, behind a large set of hedges. The entire house is surrounded by stunning gardens. Danielle gave us a warm welcome, and added some suggestions for dinner during our one-night stay. The house is a nice walk through town from the Giverny Gardens. An added benefit is that Danielle has garden tickets for sale to avoid lines at the entrance. We stayed in the Water Lilies room, which is exactly as pictured on the web site -- very comfortably large with extremely attractive furnishings and a modern bath. There was a binder is the room with tremendously helpful and historical information about Giverny and Normandy in general. The room opens directly into gardens and flowering trees with seating in the middle. Breakfast was delightful -- croissants, fresh fruit, cereal, juices, jams & jellies -- all served at a large table in a dining room in the main house, which is just across the lawn from the rooms. If we were to return to Giverny, we definitely would try to book at Le Clos Fleuri. We cannot imagine a better accommodation exists in the area.

Room Tip: The Water Lilies room was great. I believe the room next door is essentially identical.

Very friendly welcome and information freely given. Lovely breakfast. Beds very comfortable and good bathroom facilities. Make sure you have time to spend relaxing on the sun loungers in their beautiful, peaceful garden. Only a short walk away from Monet's house and gardens - which were fantastic. A real cutie dog called Darwin!
Only two restaurants to eat at in evening - we ate at the nearest which was very expensive and offered a rather uninspiring salad with 'formed' chicken pieces. Ate lunch at the Art Museum restaurant which was delicious and lovely staff. Not enough to see for more than a day or two but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Danielle.

Room Tip: No windows so door had to be open for fresh air. Wi-Fi signal too weak to use in room. See lily ponds in evening when fewer people.

We stayed 3 nights at Le Clos Fleuri and had a good stay. We booked the larger Clematis Room which is attached to the main house and unfortunately does not seem to be of the same standard as the garden rooms. Although large, clean and well equipped this room could really do with a refresh - especially to the bathroom which is a bit dated. Nevertheless we enjoyed the lovely grounds and made use of the communal 'bistro' area for the odd lunch. The location is great and Danielle was welcoming and helpful.

Room Tip: Garden rooms seem to be the best option
