“Peace and quiet in the Norman countryside”

As long as you are mobile with a car and sat nav, La Londe makes an ideal base for exploring Normandy. The cottage will comfortably take 4. Log stove very welcome on cooler evenings.

Car definitely essential here, I'd say satnav optional as the roadsigns are good and an old fashioned map works great! Glad you enjoyed the woodburner, as many free logs as you can burn, enjoy... Stephen

“Great blend of the old & the new, well placed, well equiped”

Private and beautifully placed in the countryside but not too far from the shops to feel remote. A cosy cottage with real charm. Easy to find thanks to the clear directions, helpful English caretaker to meet you when you arrive, great tips on things to do in the area.

Booking was really easy, payments & deposit return very smooth.

All the facilities you're likely to need for a week or two are provided, washing machine, dishwasher, ironing facilities, etc. The TV has UK channels and there's a DVD player with shelf full of films. The free Wifi was a real bonus!

Fantastic walks right on the doorstep, amazing wildlife - red squirrels, deer, hares, buzzards. D-day beaches nearby for history or just nice walks.

Had a great relaxed week, will definitely be returning!
