We started our trip with several days in the busy Marais in Paris and I hoped in Bayeux to have a very different atmosphere. That was a success with Villa Aggarthi, a charming B&B in a couple of old houses with a courtyard and a small chicken coop (as well as dogs, cats, an enormous rabbit and at least one goose). The family that runs it was very friendly, serving a nice breakfast timed to whenever we needed to be ready to go, and the rooms were pleasant and in good shape. I would definitely recommend it.

There were 7 of us, two families, traveling in Europe for three weeks. This was one of our favorite places to stay. It was charming and wonderful. The garden was beautiful and a terrific place to relax with family. The family that runs it was as helpful as they could be including getting us reservations for dinner and contacting our tour guide to make arrangements for us to be picked up at the hotel. The breakfast was the best we had anywhere in Europe. We would highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

We had such a lovely 2 night stay here in June. The rooms are clean and comfortable, hot showers. The hosts very welcoming...we were cycling in the area and the enclosed court yard was a great place to store bikes safely. The garden is very nice and we even ate breakfast outside one day as it was sunny. Breakfast included croissants, pancakes, cheese, scrambled eggs, yogurt and lots of lovely coffee!
We were given a list of recommended restaurants and the two we tried were very good. free wifi - always useful.

This was a good stay for three nights, with a comfortable bedroom. The whole family were welcoming and helpful. The breakfasts were disappointing after reading the reviews - every day there was lumpy scrambled eggs waiting in the pan, the orange juice was not fresh, and were the pancakes really home-made?

Very cute B&B. Good location to walk around the town and very close to area for embarking on Normandy D-Day tours.

Really sweet family that runs the B&B. They serve a great breakfast and are very accommodating.

Would stay here in the future
