We stayed in this beautiful house for the weekend while we visited the Normandy D-Day memorials. The owner was lovely and did fabulous breakfasts for us. Figaro the dog was lovely too. I would recommend this property to anyone.
We stayed with Yseult for 3 nights whilst visiting the landing beaches and cemeteries in Normandy. Manoir Saint Herbert is so well placed for this and Bayeux is charming.
Yseult's house is amazing. Its a huge old country house about 15 minutes walk into Bayeux. Its a haven of peace and tranquility surrounded by a very large garden with just the sound of birds and the church bells. Our host was so friendly and very welcoming. She serves a breakfast of kings. Nothing was too much trouble. We loved her little dog Figaro too. Yseult knows all the great places to visit.
I'd highly recommend it and if anyone wants a stay you won't forget, this is definitely it.
Its great value too. 4 of us stayed in her lovely apartment and it was a delight.
Perfect beginning to our first visit to France, stayed 2 nights, beautiful manor, fresh flowers in the bedrooms, bathroom, and dining room. Yseult was so welcoming to us and also our friends who stayed miles away by opening up the dining and living room for them to join us. The bountiful, delicious breakfast of fruit/bread/cheese/yogurt/juice each morning kept us full for hours. Yseult offered us great advice on our itinerary each day with places to visit in the Normandy area, history of different areas, and better driving routes than google maps offered. We loved it! Thanks Yseult!!
Imagine fresh strawberries and cream, croissants, and more for breakfast in a manor home that exudes years of history. This is an incredible spot from which to explore Normandy. And Yseult will provide you with wonderful advice to guide you for your days.
We stayed here for 2 nights in mid July and it was fabulous. The grounds are quite gorgeous and the rooms were cozy, filled with lots of character. The morning breakfast was quite a feast, with fresh pastries, jams, coffee, juices, and fruits. Our host Yseult provided the best recommendations on where to visit and what restaurants to go to. Would definitely stay here again if we ever have the chance.
