rooms are huge in this hotel and I had 2 big beds for 1 person! It's clean, not a top Mercure but all you need is there. The restaurant is very good and staff is nice too. Very close to the airport with free shuttle

Rooms are a little tired and dated, net curtain falling down, bathroom lighting so poor and old fashioned! The bathrooms could do with a complete make over. Beds firm but comfortable.

Not one member of staff spoke to us at breakfast which was incredible!! It was self service but usually a member of staff would make sure you had everything you required! However, Jeremy on reception very polite and pleasant.

Be warned, a taxi from this hotel into centre of Lille cost us 35 Euros! Jeremy told us there was a huge conference in the centre of town hence why all the other hotels were fully booked. I would not have stayed here otherwise. Didn't think it was particularly good value for the money.

In line with the standard of mercure, clean and good rooms, not noisy even of on saturday night there was a dancing evening in the bar. Overall it was good.
Nice breakfast buffet with more than what you need. We used the hotel to avoid driving at night back home after a full day of shopping/restaurent.

I visited Mercure Lille on the way back from my coach holiday, after a long day of travel from Germany I was in need of some good food and a comfy bed. I did not find any of these things at Mercure Lille, my partner and I made our way up to our room to be greeted by huge stains all over the carpets the room was just dirty like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. We made our way down for dinner which was disgusting reheated lasagna that was so tough on the edges you could barely cut it. The worst aspect of the whole visit was the staff at dinner the waiters were arrogant and loudly said offensive and racist jokes in earshot of the other guests ( I suppose they assumed that a group of English tourists wouldn't understand them) totally disgusting behaviour as a waitress at a 5* Restaurant myself manners and kindness cost nothing these waiters should be disciplined.

This hotel was sold on the Dutch Internet as a "4 star mystery hotel". The location is nice for shoppers. A big supermarket Auchan FACHES THUMESNIL including a lot of small shops, is located at 1,5 kilometers from the hotel. Both the Auchan and the hotel have got plenty free parking.

The big shoppingcenter Euralille and the old town of Lille are located 8,5 kilometers from the hotel, nine minutes ride.

Under the Euralille complex there is a huge parking for 2 euro per hour with a daily maximum of 25 euro. During our visit to Euralille on saturday, it was very crowded.

Our room number 125 was nice and had a good size with two queen beds, a table and two chairs. The bathroom was big but old and had only a bath with a showerhead. There was a problem with the toilet, it seemed that a small amount of water constantly ran through the toilet.

The airconditioning unit was attached to the outside wall. It looked like an American motel type airconditioning and it caused a humid smell while it was constantly raining outside. We did not use the airconditioning and opened the window instead. The view from the window was very nice with a huge tree on a big lawn with wild rabbits running around.

The hotel was very quiet. We did not buy breakfast because breakfast was 15 euro per person per day and we only eat one croissant for breakfast with a cup of coffee. At the Auchan supermarket or Euralille you can get a small breakfast under 5 euro.
