I would come to Lourdes just for some of Mimmo's cooking. Mimmo is the owner of both the hotel and the pizzeria/restaurant attached.
I have never had the pleasure of staying at his hotel, but I would definitely choose it if the travel arrangements we up to me purely based on the knowledge of the immense hospitality Mimmo and his family have for all of their guests.
If you end up eating at the restaurant, my advice to you would be to let him serve you whatever he wants, you will not be disappointed. Mimmo even makes his own sparkling water!
The showstopper of the meal will be the finale when he brings out his famous CHOCOLATE PIZZA. (which I believe is really nuttella, not chocolate) It is amazing. Its nuttella smothered between 2 amazingly thin pizza doughs with caramelized sugar/honey(i believe) and powdered sugar on top.
My group of 20 ate here every day, twice a day, for 10 days and we loved every second. We might have been full to the point of exhaustion, but our taste buds were oh so satisfied.
