We came across this town and hotel by accident, coming off the main routes. Not impressed at first by the look of the hotel, but tired after travelling far, so booked in. Room was quite plain but clean and comfortable.

Found Hotel through Booking . com , cheap and not very salubrious ; Hotel was down at heel and needs some TLC and a bit of pride to be taken. Parking free on site , walking distance down main road into Aigues-Mortes is possible but no footpath for some of the way , although the terrain is flat , not good at night due to lack of pavements. Room was adequate for one night , there is an outdoor pool on site but we did not use it. Restaurant was not appealing from outside and did not use it.

Room Tip: Back of hotel is away from main road , and first floor would feel safer?

We were travelling with another couple and they made the reservations for us. The picture of the pool didn't look like that. It didn't have water in it and the property looked like it needed some updating.
It is located in a commercial area on a main road; had a store and bakery across the street. We had an upstairs room which was clean, but this hotel has no ambience to us. However, we didn't stay in the downstairs rooms with a patio. The breakfast was served in a restaurant next door. The breakfast was very good, but if that restaurant belongs to the hotel, it was totally dead for dinner and was not inviting to eat there. There are nice restaurants in town. You can reach Aigues-Mortes via a nice walk by the canal; about 10-15 minutes. You get what you pay for.

This hotel is situated outside the city wall but the city is quite easily accessed by a 15 minutes walk along the channel. The hotel has a quiet pool and easily access to two supermarkets. Parking places on the lot.

We would recommend this hotel for its great location (pleasant 10 min walk along the canal to the old town), its comfortable and spacious rooms, its inviting swimming-pool, and especially its warm and friendly welcome from the receptionist, who speaks excellent English and was very helpful with information about the area. We loved the Camargue and if we return, will certainly come back to this hotel.
