I am so glad we found this gem of a studio. It is compact, cosy, very well equipped and both the Château and the town of Versailles are within easy walking distance. Jérôme, the owner, gave us a warm welcome, explained everyting we needed to know and helped us plan so we could make the best out of our stay. He also explained where we could park our car for free.
The studio features a large and comfortable bed, a bathroom with one of the best showers in France, a sofa where you can rest your feet after a long day of sightseeing a very well equipped kitchen and a dining table with chairs. There is also a little terrasse from which you can soak up the sun (although not at the end of January when we stayed :-) and play at being a Citizen of Versailles.
I would recommend everyone to stay for at least two days, get a two day pass for the château, as this makes it less overwhelming and take out time to explore the beautiful city with its fantastic market and lots of great shops, bars and restaurants, where most of the tourists never venture.
La Terrasse the Mademoiselle is the perfect base from where to discover everyting Versaille has to offer, in great comfort and style. And value for money is fab too. I would have to hesitation whatsoever to stay here again.More
