We entered into the restaurant, because we saw the sign of tripadvisor. The waiter was okay. We ask his recommendation and ordered upon his suggestions. The onion soup we ordered tasted like hotwaiter. There were ONLY 3-4 pieces of onion in that soup. The main course we ordered wasnt too tasty at all... :(
We were dissapointed very much.

We wanted moules et frites and found them at the Bistrot. The service was great, they let me practice my rusty French to order. I felt proud to be able to order for the table. Very friendly staff!

The mussels were so so. Half got a chilly bowl with no broth and half got a hot bowl with mostly broth. The broth was not quite as flavorful as I would expect.

Honestly, we didn't care. We had such fun and the service was so great and we got the basic family friendly meal we wanted. Merci beau coup!!!

Tiny bistro (just try going up the steps to use the restroom) across from Les Halles/S. Eustache on Rue Berger. Classic French menu and cooking and a very good value considering it's in the 1st arr. I loved the onion soup and the steak au poivre was the best, best, best ever. Very good cheese plate and reasonable pitchers of wine. One note - we came twice and had very good meals both times. One time was during the week when it was slow and the service was great. The next time we came was a Friday and the place was full of tourists. The people next to us were not attempting any French and did not get very good service, so come on a slower night (our service was good).
