Accomodation was good and a great situation for central Paris to walk out and about and flat comfortable and well equipped; however cupboards were cluttered with old clothes and could do with clearing out. Fridge was left with previous visitors food some half eaten. We were promised 2 bottles of complimentary wine but we didn't receive them but behind bin in kitchen were two empty bottles! Bedrooms comfortable and bathrooms modern and clean. We would stay here again.
This is a centrally located, 2 bedroom apartment with two full bathrooms, a large living room, separate dining room, fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, air-conditioning, and a hallway library. The elevator in the secure building was very useful for getting our luggage to the apartment. The apartment even had a full size piano in it. The location was very central walking distance to major tourist attractions, and the management service was very helpful with anything we needed. The kitchen and refrigerator was modern and full size. All of the large windows throughout the apartment open providing wonderful Paris breezes. This was a great choice for our first visit to Paris.
After visiting Paris for a number of years, we decided to rent this amazing apartment for 3 weeks
Not only is it spacious and charming, but we are both cooks and the kitchen was fabulous. We seldom had reason to go to restaurants, and together with the wonderful stereo system and beautiful dining room, dinner at home was a highlight of our trip---and the walks in the 16th arrondissement were kmagical
We are returning in 2018 as well
We spent a wonderful week in Paris and the location was perfect. Easy to get a taxi in the Victor Hugo Square, plus a great bakery and restaurants nearby. Note that the location shown here on the map is not accurate. It is between Victor Hugo and Trocadero. We were four adult women and always felt safe.
The flat is beautiful and full of character. The showers were great and the beds comfy. And there is a wonderful old elevator.
Bernard was so helpful and kind both while booking and while we were in Paris. The car and driver service was reliable and easy to book.
If you are staying in Paris, this is the place to be!
This is a lovely apartment, and my stay was probably unusual in its circumstance however, I booked through tripadvsor ( whom I felt very helpful) but the map reference showed the property near the Louvre and just north of Notre Dame, it is aprox 4 to 5 km to the east of the Louvre and as I booked hoping to walk to Louvre etc (with a back complaint) found this inconvenient, it is located in a very nice residential area just North of the Eiffel tower, a lovely area but not what was represented.
We were offered a driver pickup from he airport which we accepted ( even though with our business class flights gave us Chauffeur service to our Paris destination, I accepted their service as I thought it wis as we would be taken straight to apartment and fast access ( I travel regularly to Paris and use apartments and sometimes have been left waiting for hours to have someone come to open)
Anyway nobody at airport to pick us up, we waited for 40 minutes, and then had airport staff ring number we were given, but no answer for ten calls, finally after contacting tripadvisor we had come contact with American owner ( 2 hours after arriving) who told us that his driver waiting but nobody was there, we caught taxi, the owner intimated that we were morons and that his driver was waiting so not impressed.
Finally we arrived at apartment meeting agen who as very nice, but our misfortune continued, no water in apartment at all, so no showers after 22 hours of flight, no toilet, no drinking water, maybe not the fault of owner but incredible all the same, the aircon advertised did not work at all. By late that night water reconnected.
The apartment complex had renovation being done which meant noise, paint fumes and disruptiion for our Paris stay.
For all this I as offered 100 euro compensation.
I think this apartment in ideal condition is fantastic, but just hope you dont strike the situation we ound ourselves in.
You can probably tell I am angry, more so from the owner being so oblivious and even patronising to our situation.
