The staff were superb at this hotel. Extremely nice and helpful, the nicest staff we had encountered on our trip to Europe. The room and hotel were spotless and breakfast was offered for a small fee. They also had parking available for us in a nearby garage which was helpful. Very quaint and quiet area, and close to Gare de Nord with another Metro station just down the street which was very convenient. Shuttle service available for transport to CDG for a very fair price. The value for this hotel is excellent, would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Paris.

I picked this hotel due to its close proximity to Gare Du Nord and it's high rating on here. And it didn't disappoint!

A 5 minute walk off the Eurostar, on a quiet street off the main road.

Close to the nearest metro stop, but also within walking distance of Sacre Coeur, Moulin Rouge and even Louvre / Notre Dame if you want to stretch the legs.

Hotel staff couldn't do enough for us. Made our mini-moon special, gave us tips on where to go and how to get there (with routes drawn on maps) and booked us a cab to the Latin Quarter! Also held our luggage on our last day. Excellent first class service.

The hotel was cosy and clean, and the room was very nice. Again very cosy, had a lovely balcony, comfy bed, minibar, tv, free coffee machine, air con (a must in the 30+ degrees we enjoyed) and a superb modern shower room and toilet.

We didn't have time to try the breakfast but looked tasty and had variety for a decent price.

All in all a great hotel which we can't fault (just take a 'thin' travel plug as ours didn't fit).

We know where to book on our next visit to Paris, and I'll definitely recommend this to family and friends.

What a great hotel! Fantastic customer service - everyone ( especially Julien!) was so kind and helpful. Nice sized, spotlessly clean rooms. A two minute walk to the Metro and a couple of blocks from Rue des Martyrs where you'll find loads of boulangeries and restaurants. Thanks to all the staff at Hotel Helussi!!

We were fortunate to have stayed there for about a week. I initially booked it since it was so close to Gare de Nord and we were coming in from Rome via train. My first recommendation is to make sure that you arrive when there is light outside. The street signs are difficult to see and given this is a smaller botique hotel, there is not going to be a large bright sign like a chain would have. It was actually less than half a mile from the station. There is a metro stop literally down the street as well so transportation was very simple.
The staff there is very friendly and recognizes you everytime you walk in. Clearly an advantage of a smaller hotel. The rooms were quite spacious for European standards. The AC worked great. The wifi was free, fast and reliable. The rooms are well insulated and very quiet. It is on a side street so there was not a lot of road noise. There is a fridge in the room with a honor bar. Soda's were 2 euro which is far cheaper than at a tourist site. Bottled water was free. There is a small lift.
We did not eat breakfast there. It is 10 euro but honestly there is much better food in the neighborhood so I would plan for that.
Laundry is always an issue with long plane trips. By shear luck there is an easy place to do your own laundry just down the street. Maybe 150 yards away. Numerous washers and dryers. Very nice. There is also a grocery store just down the street as well that is well stocked. Numerous places to eat and we did feel safe.
I would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend. Prices are reasonable as well.

If you are travelling via Eurostar, then this hotel is very well located being only a 15 minute walk from the Gare du Nord. It also has Poissonniere metro station a few minutes down the bottom of the road, so very easy to get around.

The staff are all friendly and could not be more helpful, all speaking excellent English and offering great advice. The hotel is very modern (recent refurb) and the rooms are in very good condition, each being individually decorated. Like many Paris hotels they are not huge, but it more than suited our needs, with a comfortable bed and powerful enough shower. It also has a mini bar, which you can store your own drinks in and an in room safe, which stored all our electronics.

The Wi-Fi worked well, although not lightning fast, but it was free. There are plenty of restaurants around and a few supermarkets to buy drinks and snacks. We ate in Odette and Aime which is at the top of the road over the crossing and the food was very good.

The only very minor gripe was that the room servicing was not always 100%, as they did not wash up glasses and cups and also did not replace the water in the fridge or coffee, but that was very minor and did not affect my rating of the hotel. We would certainly use again and will recommend to friends and family.
