Booked 2 rooms for 3 nights and enjoyed a great stay in this cosy hotel which we found to be ....
- very close to 2 metro stations.. Republique and Oberkampf - both easy walking distance with plenty of bars and restaurants near by / supermarket and cages /a wine bar and Crepiere.
-SErvice in the hotel is excellent, daily complimentary pastries and fruit on reception, free bottles of water in room, air conditioned , TV, very clean. Reception staff were helpful and called a restaurant to amend our booking at the last minute and orderered taxis.
-Overall, an excellent hotel, easy access and would stop again.

For many years I have been staying at this little boutique hotel close to the "Marais" in Paris. It is small and well maintained and has a brand of its own. Hotel rooms are modern, stylish and clean and are equipped with what a traveller needs. Breakfast is rich for French standards and served as of 7:00 a.m. in the morning. The hotel is close to the Place de la République and the next Métro station is around the corner. The people working here are friendly and welcoming and contribute to making this hotel like a home away from home. Excellent value for the money. Gay friendly.

Room Tip: Take the rooms that go to the back of the hotel (facing courtyard). Hotel rooms facing the street are well isolated and the street is quiet during the night.

Having tried loads of places in the corner Marais-Bastille-République, this one deserves a plus for the price quality relation. Located in a quite calm little street and in perfect tiny distance to the 3 districts, first of all it has an incredible young, smiling and helpful staff. As everywhere in Paris, rooms aren't that big, but these are comfortable, with just the elementary but new bathroom equipment and a nice decoration of parisian "eiffel tower" sights.. No big luxury, but all you need for few money, compared to others. You can save the money for breakfast as int's in the basement and Paris offering nice corner cafés everywhere with all you need to start the day. Just one street below the hotel, you got a nice bakery with very good coffee, croissants and "pains au chocolat". It's very convenient location for those who like to explore the less "show up" side of Paris and discover the more trendy youngsters streets, a crowd who likes it more cosy, friendly and relax. From here, go and discover the rue de Bretagne with all the little markets, food shops and beautiful cafés... lots of things to discover around without the cliché of touristical post card atmosphere.....try for example the nice restaurants of rue Oberkampf, just next subway station to the hotel.... there are nice hidden addresses all over the street...

I had a nice stay here in the clean, comfortable, personable hotel.
The triple room was small, but the double room was spacious and had a wonderful bathroom, including bathtub.
The location was perfect for me - away from the hustle and bustle of other areas of Paris, but convenient to the metro stations.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a mix-up with my reservation, so they were kind enough to offer me and my traveling companions free breakfast for our stay.
One downside to the stay was the broken elevator. The staff carried my luggage up to my third floor room.
I would stay here again.

Room Tip: Triple rooms are small, but ours had a cute balcony, and was a good value.

Nice area, not too touristic, really good bakery on the corner of the street. A little noisy but not too bad. Adorable View. Concierge really helpful and spoke good english, let us barrow umbrellas and power adaptors for 4 days. NIce room, cute, well decorated, really small for 3 people but completely made up for it. Had a fridge and safe, what else can you ask for at this price?
