“Paris - how you want it to be!”

This apartment is located in a pretty courtyard off a quiet street, but only a short walk from a wide range of shops, restaurants, supermarkets, bike hire stands, the Metro and everything else you want on your doorstep. This is a safe and relaxed neighbourhood with lots to offer.

Claudia (the owner) has thought of everything. This place is spotless, well appointed (dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave, landline phone, Internet access etc) and with a very comfortable bed indeed. We were particularly grateful for the helpful welcome pack that Claudia provided, which helped us get settled in quickly and find things in the vicinity, including the AMAZING restaurant literally just round the corner; Les Escapades!

My wife and I found the place a home from home and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Forget overpriced hotels in the City Centre - stay here, relax and take in the charm of this unique city!

““THE BEST APARTMENT VALUE IN PARIS YOU'LL FIND!””

This apartment was a truly great find. We spent 3 wonderful weeks here and loved everyday of it! Perfect for a couple, with absolutely everything you need for comfort. It's in a classic French neighbor, with little stores, bakeries, and more, all within an easy walk.

The double pane windows made it quite enough to sleep in late. We seldom saw the other tenets, but when we did they were very friendly. The area is very safe, and we always felt comfortable walking around, even when coming home late at night.

Since there's not a lot of tourists in this area, it felt like the shop people were a little more friendly and helpful than in other areas. The kitchen had everything needed to cook full meals at home, which is good in a city where a $80 dinner for 2 is considered 'cheap'...lol. The bathtub was big with 2 shower heads, and shampoo, body soap, bath salts, toothpaste, and even Q-tips were all provided.

You can walk to the metro station in 5 mins, and from there get to almost anywhere in Paris in less than 30mins, all for about $1.50. Paris's classic river, the Seine, is about a 10 minute walk, there you can walk riverside as far as you like, with bars and eateries along the way. About a 15 minute walk away was a beautiful park (Parc de Bercy), perfect for picnics, or just to take a break from sightseeing and relax awhile. Adjacent to the park is a trendy little collection of shops and restaurants called Bercy Village, (http://www.bercyvillage.com/). We visited the park and village multiple times during our stay and always enjoyed it.

Last, and most certainly the best, is the owner Claudia. She was absolutely wonderful to
work with! We started looking for lodging almost a year ahead of time, and there must of been 50 emails sent back and forth between us. She always answered promptly, and was glad to answer all my questions, (even the 'dumb' ones) without hesitation. She travels for work frequently, but we were fortunate to be able to meet her when she was in town for one day. Truly a warm and gracious lady.

This was our 8th trip to Paris, and by far the longest. The value the apt offered allowed us to stay about a week longer than we originally had planned.

This is one choice in Paris I can guarantee you will not regret making.

Bon voyage!

“So happy we chose to stay here!”

We found this apartment really ideal for our week long stay in Paris! Claudia , the owner, was so organised and gave us great advice and information about the apartment and local area. The apartment was very pleasant and felt like a wee haven of calm and peace after a busy day out exploring Paris. It was also extremely well appointed with a lovely shower and bath, a washing machine, nice coffee machine, dishwasher, comfy bed, wardrobes and storage etc. Everything you could want or need for a comfortable stay!
The F Mitterand metro station was a close 5 min walk away and had the excellent 14 line and the RER C train coming into it which meant that it was easy to get to everywhere we wanted to go, including the airport at the end of our stay.
We really enjoyed eating at the little restaurant called Les Escapades at the corner of the street. The food was delicious and the people who worked there were so welcoming and nice that we ate their three times.
We felt that we were very lucky to be able to stay at this lovely apartment and are really happy to recommend it to other travellers looking for a little home away from home in this beautiful city!
