“Wonderful stay in a wonderful city!”

An effortlessly easy stay overall. The flat, situated pretty perfectly between the Louvre and Pompidou Centre places it in a fantastic location for art goers. There are lots of bustling authentic french cafes and restaurants near by (off the tourist beaten track) with a number of great Boulangeries for picking up your petit dejeuner!

Monic gave us excellent directions how to find the place from Gare du Nord taking 25 minutes to walk with suitcases even in the pouring rain. Best advice for travelling (which we found out on the way home) is to take the 38 bus south costing 2 euros for a day ticket and it takes little less than 10 minutes.

Had all the practical facilities one would need to prepare a meal, especially a useful wine corker (when in France!). Needless to say we spent little time in the nest, but it was a fine base to explore from each day.

Hope to be travel back soon!

Bonjour Rhiannon, thanks for your kindness. You were very respectful and positive guests. Just an information: the bus 38 ticket for 2€ is only for 1 trip. From the train station to the studio with bus the walking distance (from bus station) is longer than coming with metro line 4, station Réaumur Sébastopol. I suggest to come from the train station by walk to have the opportunity to visit a less touristic area.
Welcome back and I hope with a better summer weather.

“Great Location, value for money!”
Reviewed 2 June 2014 for a stay in May 2014

I had a pleasant stayed at Monic's apartment, Monic is very kind and helpful.

RER from CDG directs to the apartment, very convenience.
Apartment is located in a safe and lively neighborhood.
On the way from Metro to apartment you will walks pass by lots of cafe, supermarket, drugstore etc.

Apartment is as advertised, small but it has everything.
The apartment was clean and in good condition.
(As shown in a pictures)
We use kitchen to cook several easy meal.

Since this place has very small space, as Monic said, do not bring big luggage.

Overall I am satisfied staying at Monic's apartment.

“Good location”
Reviewed 26 February 2014 for a stay in February 2014

Tiny studio appartment, situated on the second floor in a very Parisian old block in a slightly grubby but trendy area. It is clean, has free WiFi, and is in the most convenient location in the city.

The tiny room has steep steps up to a gallery with futon. Seating is on one director's chair and a bench, with fold down table at which to eat . We had breakfast once in the appartment and ate out the rest of the time. The kitchen has one electric hob burner, a microwave, and small fridge, and is generally well equipped.

The minute bathroom has a loo and a good shower - that's it! But there is a hairdryer.

The best part is its location. The "quartier Montorgueil" is full of restaurants, cafes, and shops for food, and non food, and great fun to walk around. You can get to everything in the city easily from here -- the Louvre, the Pompidou Centre, and Notre Dame in about 15 minutes. Buses and metros that take you to anywhere else you would want to go are no more than a 10 minute walk from this location.

Thanks for your appreciation. I know my studio/loft is small and that's why the renting price is so low comparing to many others in the same area. But it is so central ! You forgot to say that you had hot water always :-), that there is an iron, but you did not have to use it, and if you come back in summer there is a special boxe to take a picnic in one of our nice garden, along the Seine or Canal St Martin. Welcome back
