We returned to Paris having stopped over the previous year. We chose the Luxemburg Parc hotel from reviews, as our previous location and hotel had been a disappointment. What a contrast. This beautiful gem in the heart of Paris is definitely worth a stay. The rooms are clean, well-furnished, comfortable and quiet. Great to escape the busy city outside. It's location is close to restaurants and other amenities, and it is easy to access the whole of Paris. The staff are professional, friendly and helpful, respecting the need for personal space and time, however accessible when needed. A wonderful find, we will return again.

Room Tip: The rooms are arranged in a u shape around a courtyard. The ones at the end have not neighbours either side of them and are very quiet.

We were travelling with our 3 year old son and wanted somewhere that had a separate bedroom (so that he could go to sleep before us), in a good location and that wasn't going to cost us an arm and a leg. After looking at many options we decided on HLP and weren't disappointed.

We booked the junior suite (room #51) which as others have described has a bedroom separated from a spacious living area with a heavy curtain. We had an extra bed in the room for our son, which was €50/night. The room was well appointed and well decorated, the king size bed very comfortable and the bathroom spacious. we did have breakfast one morning (for €15/person) and it was an adequate continental breakfast especially by French hotel standards (many are €20+ for breakfast). The bar in the lobby also has really well priced champagne.

The staff at the hotel were all very welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived to assisting us with our very heavy luggage into the taxi.

We found the location to be perfect - across from the Luxembourg Gardens and close to Saint Germain.

The hotel website has great deals if you book (and pay) in advance which make the hotel great value for money (keeping in mind that this is by Paris standards) - we would definitely stay again.

We stayed in this well located "boutique French ' hotel, for a week, in June. The experience was indeed memorable. The hotel is small, but very well appointed with its fine "French Provincial" rooms. It is quaint, homely, clean and above all the staff were so friendly and professional - thank you Cecilia.
It is not a hotel for the budget minded traveller.
We look forward to another stay in 2013

Room Tip: Pay the extra and stay in one of the bigger rooms

Hotel Luxembourg Parc is elegant, beautiful and wonderfully located across from the Jardin du Luxembourg. The guest rooms have lovely antiques and well equipped bathrooms. The library and courtyard are especially nice for relaxing/reading.

Excellent staff, very clean, and had the "look" of a Paris hotel (which we wanted). I have no real complaints, but I have to say that I was not wow'd. I guess my expectations were a bit higher after reviewing all of the comments here on Trip Advisor. Again, the staff was super friendly and helpful, providing two great dinner recommendations. There is a nice (and very cool) bar and restaurant district just north of the hotel and just north of the church near the hotel. The location was nice, but considering how much you have to walk in Paris, we could not help but think that we could have stayed closer to the action and closer to a metro stop. After seeing the breakfast spread and price, we skipped it both days, opting to hit a bakery and grab an espresso nearby. Again, a very nice place, quiet, and with very comfortable beds. As we left they handed us a Trip Advisor card, asking for a review. Fair enough, but it made me think that maybe the Trip Advisory hype here may be manufactured by some good marketing.
