I have mixed feelings about this hotel. The hotel used to be an old bank building and was renovated relatively recently. The location was within walking distance to high end shopping and the metro station.
The hotel staff were all super friendly and knowledgeable. Specifically, Audrey (hotel manager) who was super helpful and friendly during the check in process and Sebastien (concierge) who recommended some amazing eateries and truly followed up with everything he said he would. Kudos to them for making the hotel experience great.
The room was well laid out and trendy like all of the W hotels. If you stayed in one before, you know what I am talking about and I won't spend time describing the layout.
The reason I rated this hotel average though was the hotel sits right above the metro station. Thus, if you are on a low floor you will hear trains rumbling by. The good news is that trains only seem to run from 6AM to 1AM or roundabouts. The bad news is that you feel the trains rumbling by... For this reason alone, I cannot rate this hotel higher than average.More
