Stayed here 5 nights 6 days with my wife and two teenage daughters for her sweet 16 ..simply put great hotel , terrific service we loved staying here ..rooms was spotless and roomy , they turned down our beds at night .. we had a junior suite with two rooms for the four of us .. best location too one block or so to the river sein and baetux boat tours , one block to rue Marbeuf street that takes you everywhere.. thx Le Tremoille

This hotel is ok, below average. But Difficult to understand why this hotel is considered a 5 start hotel.
The good points are the location, room size and bathroom size and cleaness.
The hotel though does not have the luxury and it is not comfortable enough.
Breakfast is average and services are very low level to a 5 start hotel.
Room service is terrible. Not many options.

The only important thing you look for when you stay at a hotel is security and privacy. And this so called 5 star hotel doesn’t provide it for its customers.

My room today was opened at last three time and the door was slammed shut also three time.

When I informed the hotel management, nothing was done. They offered me a free drink. Thats it!!!!!!!!!!!!

They told me that someone gave them my room number and asked for it to be opened and cleaned.

And started denying that the door was ever opened.

Watch out. It not worth it to book here for the slim chance that your privacy or safety gets violated.

We acknowledge your comments and once again, we are sorry to hear that your experience has been unsatisfactory.
Although we explained it over a long discussion, you seem convinced that your door was opened numerous times on the last day of your stay at the hotel.
After checking internally, the door was actually opened twice during the time frame we discussed, once by our technician (because the chambermaids could not enter the room) and once by our housekeeper (because this specific room number was requested to be cleaned over the phone).
You were previously satisfied with your 7-night stay and we regret that you finally left the hotel unhappy.

Good location is about the only asset it has. Take a look at the oily shinning surface of the two couches in the lobby to know how little the owner invests to maintain the 5 star rating. The moment I stepped in, there is not a day passed when I did not see customer fighting with the staff. Old lady complaining about aircon out without being repaired. Old man complained about the room not ready. The checkout day, the doorman was literally pushing a young man when the latter was attempting to get his luggage on a car parked outside door in an attempt to get him pay first before loading luggage. Does the staff know that the hotel keeps a copy of guests credit card? Such blatant disrespect of guests. A hotel I will advise my friend not to stay until improvement.

As you can imagine, your comments do not correspond at all neither to the service we wish to offer our guests and, quite luckily, nor to the huge majority of reviews posted on Tripadvisor or elsewhere.
Doormen and porters have a simple check-out procedure to follow and I assume you simply had a wrong impression regarding the way it was handled.

Stayed here many times over the years, and intensive excellent. Welcoming reception, and comfortable brooms. Concierge very helpful organising transport during the latest strikes. Only concern is the price of breakfast, which remains too high.
