“Great location!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 May 2012

We chose this hotel mostly because of its location: it was only a 10min walk from the roissybus station, to the main shops and department stores, a good number of restaurants, metro stations etc.

As for the hotel, there was really not much to complain. The reception staff was polite and friendly, and helped us booked dinner reservations when requested. The only thing i didn't like was that we had to hand them our room key everytime we left the hotel (but we soon learned that it was quite a common practice with small French hotels) and when we came back, all we had to do was give them our room number and they would give us the key. I was just a little worried about the security since anyone could've claimed they stayed in our room and could've gotten access. I wasn't sure if they really remembered exactly who stayed in what room, because to them, probably all us Asians look the same!

We had room 605 on the top floor, which faced the courtyard. It was a quiet room overall (at least i couldn't hear the bar crowd down below) but the walls aren't soundproof. I heard our neighbors quite clearly and i'm sure it was the same for them. I really liked the size of the room: it was large enough for us to open both our large suitcases at the same time (and still have room to walk around) and it also had a daybed which could probably be fit to accomodate a third person (if they allow it!). The bathroom was a bit dated but it was decent and clean.

Overall i liked this hotel, and even though it was a bit expensive (we paid 200EUR/night) it was still worth staying at such a decent location. Would definitely stay there next time we visit Paris!

First of all, The staff weren't friendly at all. I went with my uncle and we noticed that the air conditioning was off , knowing that it was extremely hot in Paris, we went in the lobby to ask them if they could fix it. When we got back from a long walk, They told us we broke it and it was our fault if the air conditioning wasn't working or whatever. They got pretty surprised when we told them it was impossible because we haven't touched it and my uncle is an electronic engineer . The breakfast that they offer is ....pretty normal : yogurt and bread and sometimes some croissant if you wake up early because everybody is going to eat them lol. besides that, they are in a really nice location and the rooms are really nice - modern - but realllllllllllly small

We arrived in Paris on March 29, 2012 and went ot the hotel only to be told that we could not get to our room until 2:30 in the afternoon. We had spent the last 24 or so hours travelling ... a bit of a letdown. The Louvre was close by so we went and sat in the park, looked down the Champs-Elysees, found a little cafe and had a snack. Finally we were in our room. It was small by Canadian standards but we knew that ahead of time. We chose a standard room as we knew we would be out and about most of the time. The only flaw in our stay there was the bathroom shower. It had at least a 10 inch step to get into it and the opening was tiny. Anyone more than 250 pounds would not be able to get in. Other than that it was a great spot. The front desk people were helpful. We could walk to numerous cafes or restaurants. We could walk to the Seine and see all the bridges. We also had breakfast included and it was very nice.

I loved this hotel.
It was awesome! I have spent a week choosing the right hotel and I did.
I booked a triple room with booking.com 640 eur/3 nights/3 people.
It is really difficult to express what I liked, because I loved everything:
1. room - 18-20 M^2, very spacious, bright, big bathroom, comfy beds, one extra large double and one single which was of just the right size, not a roll in bed.
Excellent Bathroom with bath, all the amenities, very spacious, we even put an armchair from the room over there.
Bathroom and toilet are separate - which is more than practical for 2 or more guests.
2. Location - 5******!!!! It is 2 minutes from the opera, 10 minutes from Louvre, 5 min from Apple store and Galeries Lafayette it 1 min from metro station (there are actually 5 different metro station around).
3. Breakfast - we saw it, but we didn't have it, because it was not included in our room rate. It costs 15 eur per person, and it seems like a traditional french breakfast with cheese, ham , cereal, jams, fruits, drinks ... etc.

There is a little renovation going on, but you never seem to notice, because everything is very quiet. The guest in the hotel are Chinese, American, French, German, Russian... etc. Unlike other 3 star hotels that are overcrowded with russians only. There are lots of bars around the hotel, so you don't have to go far for food or drinks at any time of the day.

The only thing is that the reception is very strict. Even though my room was ready at two, they said I need to check in at two thirty as the policy suggests, and at checkout the also gave me only one hour except for the normal 2 or 3 hours that you can get in most hotels. But trust me, if you are looking for smth central and good and below 210 eur per person for three nights, you won't find anything better.
The sleep quality was perfect, one of the very few paris hotels, according to my experience, where condition works perfectly.
all the rooms have tiny little, not even balconies, but more for decoration or flowers, but you can get out there to smoke, even if the room is non-smoking.

Room Tip: 208 was perfect, facing inside so it was very quiet, very spacious triple room and bathroom.

First Trip to Paris. Stayed in October 2011 - 3 nights for 3 people.

Price- Good, Didnt try the breakfast so couldnt rate if its worth paying for it.
Rooms- Very Comfortable Bed , Has separate toilet & bath which makes things easier in the morning for 3 people in a room, Was abit tight/small but it might be because of our extra bed. The corridor has this weird/funky smell though.
Location- Great/Awesome
Staff- Friendly and Polite, Can speak English and gives good direction and recommendation when needed.

I think this is one of the best location thus far. Its situated at this alley between 2 big main streets. One that houses all the designer shops from tiffany&Co to Cartier to Dunhill etc and guess what its just few steps away from all those big 5stars hotel situated along the designers streets.

On the other street is the main street where one corner is the Grand Opera and towards the other end is all the shopping area where it houses Gucci, Prada etc (abit of a walk to reach though). But what i love most is the "le tour Bus" busstop which is just 2mins walk from our hotel situated on this main street. This hop on n hop off bus just brings you to everywhere you want and is so convenient with every 15mins theres a bus and only cost you say 30euros each if i dont remember wrongly.

You will have ample reasonable price food. There this Japanese restaurant on the left that opens till 12am and the food is actually very authentic and the price is reasonable. There a Italian restaurant on the right, pizza's was good. There a Harry's Bar which apparently has been there for 50years or so and a few pubs which is quite lively at night so there no worries about dark, cold, dodgy streets coz there always people around. One cheap and fast food there's also a Kebab shop next to Harry's Bar,

Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an affordable room, comfy bed to rest after a long day, dont really care much about the interior design and most of all looking for a great location to enjoy Paris.
