We stayed here 2 nights starting on Sept 6, 2018 as the start to a Viking River Cruise. The check in process went smoothly as it was not crowded at the time. Our room on the first floor appeared to have been recently remodeled with new carpet, drapes and re-done bathroom. The large bed was extremely comfortable. Now for the minuses. The bathroom was very clean, but the no threshold shower splashed water all over the bathroom since there was no curtain or any barrier at all. The lights around the mirror weren’t working so it was very dark for doing make-up or hair. They did provide a very nice hairdryer. An ironing board and iron were provided.
When it was time for bed the draperies wouldn’t pull closed because the curtain rod was installed incorrectly. I ended up raiding my sewing kit to pin them together.
The location is the real plus, very close to the Eiffel Tower. We also walked across the bridge on the Seine to the Trocadero. We had lunch at a restaurant behind the Trocadero. Great views from here. There were lots of places to eat close to the hotel. The hotel has a nice buffet breakfast every morning with a wide variety of made to order dishes and fruits, yogurts, meats, cereals and breads.
Check-out was easy because Viking Cruises handled everything.More
