What can I say? The location of the Mercure Paris Centre Eiffel Tower Hotel, could not be better positioned. You can see the Eiffel Tower from the main entrance to the hotel. It is a very short stroll, (less than 200m) until you are right underneath the tower. So for the majority of first time travellers to Paris this hotel could not be located in a better spot, within close walking distance to local restaurants as well.

The hotel itself was lovely, all of the staff spoke very good English, even though I made every attempt to speak in French where possible. The only issue that I had with the hotel itself would have been the check in. I completed an online check in 24 hours prior to arriving which was meant to have room keys ready to pick up and straight to the room, however this was not the case, and I'm unsure what the reason behind this was. The room was already prepaid and booked on the Accor website itself, so it was an unusually long check in which was disappointing after the numerous emails encouraging an online check in.

The room was fantastic, clean and tidy with views of the Louvre clearly visible from our room, the bed and pillows were comfortable. The air conditioning was a little average, had the dial turned right down to the coldest setting and the room was still not entirely cool.

The rain shower in the bathroom was fantastic and relaxing with a separate removable shower head also available.

The only other negative was the fact that I had booked the room for 3 guests, including my 4 year old daughter which was all entered into the forms when booking, and yet there was no pillow for the sofa bed, or towels for a third person, so needing to ring up to arrange this was a slight negative for me.

The buffet breakfast on the other hand was absolutely amazing, everything you would expect from an Australian/American/English buffet. Eggs, Bacon, Sausages, Fresh bread and croissants, yogurt, juice, coffee, fruit etc. etc. was very pleased.

Overall would definitely recommend the Mercure Paris Centre Eiffel Tower if you plan on visiting Paris!

Purchased room months before arriving. Even called and spoke with hotel personally to ensure we would have a room with full view of eiffel tover. Upon arrival, we were informed, they had no rooms with full view available. !! Those rooms were already taken!!! We were told, if we didn't like it, the pullman next door had rooms with view available!!!! Never again would we ever stay at a Mercure property!!! Or EVER BOOK THRU TRIP ADVISOR!!

Me and Becky stayed here and so glad I spent the extra for a room with view of tour Eiffel aswe could look at it from our bed.
The room was very comfy with memory foam pillows and a free mini bar. We were in 1208 and would definitely recommend.
The staff were all very polite and helpful.
We will return here one day

This hotel first and foremost is in a fantastic location. Eiffel Tower, metro and boat tours are within easy access. Views of the Eiffel Tower are accessible from some aspects and whilst we didn't benefit from this in our room, of equal enjoyment were the city views. Especially at the evening. This hotel is impeccably clean, modern and staff were extremely polite and were able to provide thorough advice regarding directions. Breakfast is available, though we chose to eat in the city instead. When we come to Paris again, will be sure to stay here again.

I had stayed in this hotel for a few nights while in Paris. The hotel itself is average, but I should reccomend a front desk agent that was exceptional helping us with travel tips, what to see in Paris, always with a great smile. Awhile we had a few issues with our trip, Augusto helped us a lot, making a big difference. I would definitely suggest this hotel for this excellent service provided by Augusto.
