We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during a trip booked to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The welcome we had from the female receptionist was warm and inviting. Unfortunately the room was not. We stayed in room 603, it was extremely dated and not the luxury we had been looking for. This said perhaps this was the fault of Thomas Cook giving us awful advice, and taking £500 from us for 3 nights in a budget hotel. Not what we were expecting at all. The staff at breakfast were less than polite- we felt like they did not want us there at all, and that we were inconveniencing them. Not one word was spoken by either of them- a simple Bonjour or Hello would have sufficed! To their credit the lift broke on our second day there- and the manager did offer to move us to their other hotel as I am 5 months pregnant. We did however refuse as the hotel was further from the metro. If a budget hotel is what you are looking for, and you don't mind dated and tired decor then go ahead and book-however don't expect home from home or luxury.

I stayed here with my partner and 16 month daughter. The room was large, but without the views mentioned by other reviews and they provided a cot for my daughter, which had to be brought to the room when we had reminded the staff about it.
Breakfast was average - continental but the option of toast, fruit salad, meats or other yoghurts would have been nice, (hot chocolate is something to be avoided!)
That said the staff were friendly and they were happy to keep our luggage on the day we left whilst we explored the city for a few hours.
The only real negative is the dated decor - particularly the bathroom. Some tiles were cracked and the shower head had to be held up - a connection to the wall would have been nice.

My wife and i stayed here on a recent trip to Paris (room 603).

The staff, i found to be very polite and extremely patient while i practiced my rather poor French on a daily basis.

The room while a bit dated, did have the advantage of a little balcony which overlooked the street below and the rooftops of Paris. We found this to be superb for a morning coffee while waiting for breakfast.

On that point, i found the breakfast to be very good value for money and a perfect start for a day exploring the sights of Paris.

Overall, we found this hotel perfect for our needs, good location, value for money and part of the whole Paris experience. I would, without hesitation return here and recommend it to friends.

Room Tip: Try for one that has a balcony for a truly unforgettable Parisian experience.

Arrived back to the UK on the 9th October 11 - Stayed in room 502 which is an excellent room overlooking the street with large windows that are easy to open (No night time noiise)
It also has air conditioning which works well - I would recommend to stay in rooms 101-103 or 201-203 & 301-303 etc etcm as they have views to the main front street & not to the back of the building.
We caught the air france bus from CDG Airport that took us to Arc De Triomphe very easy to do costing 24 euros return each.
The breakfast is qiute basic i.e continental style with cereal (Help your self)
The staff at breakfast were quite moody & didnt smile at all over the 4 days we were there.
Reception staff were very helpful - We booked through Otel.com & had a really good deal.
Take plenty of Euros with you as food/drinks etc are very expensive.
The hotel is approx a 2 minute walk from the Metro station which is very handy for this hotel.
Would definetly stay at this hotel again & would also recommend to friends.
We had no problems with the exception of a friendly greeting at breakfast.

Room Tip: Please see above as mention for best room numbers

My girlfriend and I had the unfortunate life experience of staying at this terrible hotel during a trip to Paris in August. There was a homeless man urinating in front of the hotel when we arrived, and we should have taken that as a sign to run for it. The staff were unproffessional and rude, but you can hardly blame them considering how bad the hotel manager was. On our second morning there we noticed something on our sheets - mould! We brought it to the attention of staff and to say we got the run-around is an understatement. Our travel company kept calling the hotel after we had left and the manager would not even answer their calls. We never got the refund the manager had promised. The room was disgusting, breakfast was awful, and the entire experience is something I wish I will soon forget. Stay elsewhere.
