While small, the room was adequate for our stay. It is close to the heart of Paris and many of the sites. My only complaint is the shower in the bathroom. The floor of the shower had what appeared to be mold and needed some serious cleaning.

I stayed here back in August 2009 and only just realised I never wrote a review on this great hotel! The hotel is in a superb location and the Eiffel Tower is only a short walk away. The hotel has a very Parisian feel. Although the rooms are small they are wonderful with a cosy feel and very clean. Would definitely reccommend and hope to visit here again one day.

We stayed at the Hotel Beaugency last week. We spent three nights there at the end of a trip in London and France. The location was perfect, steps away from Rue Cler and all the wonderful shops, markets, and restaurants the area has to offer. Add to that, walking distance to Eiffel Tower, Military Museum, and the river, made this perfect for our family of four.

The hotel staff was very helpful, the woman there for the day shift even helped me print out our boarding passes for our flights, as we did not have a printer. Free WiFi too! We had two rooms - one with a queen for my husband and I, and across the hall, a room with two twins for our sons, ages 22 and 24. Small, but clean, and well equipped with a fridge and updated bath - great shower! We had a view out of our window up the side street onto Rue Cler.

We highly recommend this hotel, and would stay there again no question.

Room Tip: The elevator is tiny, only good for getting your luggage up. There are five floors, so if you don't like steps, ask for a room on the first or second floor.

We stayed for 3 nights on the 4th floor. Our room was small, but clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and is at a very convenient location, just one block off rue Cler. It is an east walk to shops, bakeries, and cafes. There is also a weekend street market that is great fun. It is also fairly quiet, considering how near it is to rue Cler! We did not try the Breakfast. The hotel elevator is tiny.

Our room was small, but nicely updated and clean. Since we were just traveling with backpacks and were only staying one night, the size wasn't too much of a problem. But if you have more luggage and are staying for a few days, this could start to cause frustration. We were on the third floor at the end of the hallway, which meant we had a view of just the tip of the Eiffel tower, which was a nice surprise.

There's free WiFi and a pretty spacious lobby, so there are some amenities. Service was very good. We arrived before check in time, and they let us leave our bags so we could go get lunch before returning and officially checking in.

The real treat about this hotel, though, is it's location. Rue Cler is so charming, with amazing restaurants nearby, and the short walk to the Eiffel tower is fantastic. We bought pastries and strawberries in the morning and walked to have a picnic breakfast near it the day we left, which was an amazing experience.

We actually walked to the Ile de la Cite as well because we wanted to get out and see the city, but that's much longer--like 30-40 minutes each way. So the metro or bus is probably quicker and better if you're tired, but the walk is certainly doable if you're up for it.
