Stayed through the first week of June,
before heading off to Swiss and Italy and it could be said that this hotel offers all that a traveller in terms of facilities but where they really can teach a thing or two to the highend hotels, is the personal touch, one could head out of the hotel and head back to hotel with the reassurance these guys would do their best to assist and support when wherever they could

On a personal note, when I landed with the flooding and strikes on in Paris , took a taxi to the hotel, was given a very warm welcome, immediately offered water and breakfast even before Check In, Check in was due at 1200 - provided a room at 1000 am - that takes some understanding of customer needs and to do it on the ground is phenomenal

My girl friend and I travelled from the UK to stay here from 18 May to 25 May 2016.
We booked the hotel following good feedback on this site. When we arrived,Douglas from reception sat with us with a map of Paris with suggestions for our sightseeing. He was so helpful during all of our stay and he was very pleasant and friendly. We don't speak French, but his English was great so we had no problem.
We loved the hotel. Our room was small, but that was our choice. We decided to save money on the room and spend it on our holiday.
We liked breakfast and as we booked direct with the hotel it was included in the price. We thought it was well worth it and I had something cooked every day. My girl friend has Coeliac Disease so can't eat gluten. She enjoyed the cheese, meats and fruits on offer. If required they got her gluten free bread without any problem. As others have mentioned, there are soft drinks and snacks available all day which was a bonus.
We liked the location of the hotel as the street was quiet, but only 5 minutes from St Georges metro.
Although my comments are not very original,I just wanted to share our very positive experience of the hotel.
As mentioned already,Douglas was unbelievably helpful and worthy of a concierge job at a 5 star hotel! Special mention also to Audrey at reception and a lady who took care of our breakfast. I believe her name was Khaidra?
A quick mention of Les Canailles restaurant about 20 yards from the hotel. We had a lovely meal there, but I think you need to book.
This was our first trip to Paris and the Hotel Joyce made it a great experience.
Thanks again to all the staff.

Recently stayed with my husband and 20 month old daughter. We stayed in a studio room which had a bedroom and a separate lounge area. We found the room to be very spacious and clean. They also had a cot ready for us on check in. We were on the 6th floor so no street noise at all. Breakfast was included and was a buffet style with a good range of options. The hotel also offers free snacks and drinks from 1pm onward which you can also use at any of their other hotels in Paris. This was great if our daughter was hungry and we could just pop downstairs. Overall a great place to stay.

I've traveled to Paris for work a couple of times and each time, I insist on staying at Hotel Joyce because the quality of the service and room is fantastic.

Their concierge, Samuel, is wonderful!!! He is always very helpful and thoughtful.

The location is a 10 minute walk from the Pigalle station.

My wife and kids stayed at the Hotel Joyce in the summer 2015. While we found the place clean and most of the staff friendly, we found they had a lack of concern towards security.
One reason we chose this hotel was it advertised a room safe. A safe is a requirement for us for reasons articulated below but suffice it to say the safe in our room did not work. The hotel's response to getting it fixed lacked both empathy for our needs and a sense of urgency to fix the safe as it took 4 days for the maintenance guy to get around to it (see below). In fact, I sensed that both hotel concierges involved were offended that we would feel we even needed a safe in their hotel. Given the happenings in Paris over the past year, and especially as an American, I would never stay at a hotel that projected a lack of concern over security as this hotel did.
A safe is a requirement for us not just for the usual reasons like our passports and valuables but more because two of our party are on required maintenance medications to control seizures. While vacationing in Spain a few years back we had the meds stolen and we had to return home to the U.S. So, when we arrived at the Hotel Joyce and the safe didn't function we were very concerned and asked it to be fixed as soon as possible. The concierge said they would have their maintenance guy fix it. After 4 days into our 5 day stay, the maintenance guy actually showed up but could not fix it so he had to bring a different safe from another room.

Dear MarkTro,

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your personal experience with us.

First of all, please accept our deepest apologies for this unpleasant situation.

Be certain that safety is a top priority for all of our Astotel hotels who constantly take care to ensure our customers security, especially following the last events, by closing main doors when it is needed or by ensuring all our safety boxes are always operational.

We are very sorry we did not manage to fix your problem on time last year. Please, be certain that we would have been more than delighted to solve this problem right away after you requesting it to be done. Unfortunately our maintenance team also has to follow our strict rule to respect our customers’ privacy when the DND sign is banging on the door, as it was the case the most part of your stay among us.

We invite you to contact us directly at customer.service@astotel.com should you wish to share more about this experience.

Rest assured that our team would have been, and would still be, more than delighted to demonstrate its commitment to better satisfy your expectations.

We all remain at your entire disposal.

Sincerely,

Samantha
