Having never stayed in a Holiday Inn before I was a little unsure as to how it would turn out, but it was great. I am sure there are cheaper options, we had an executive room - 606, 6th floor with balcony - you could not have wanted for a better location. 1 minute to St Michel Metro and 2 minutes to the RER for the Eiffel Tower, 5 minutes walk to Notre Dame...etc. Reception were very friendly and full of advice on where to eat - which is great when you have a million choices on your doorstep. St Andre's bistro next to the hotel had great food. The Latin Quarter is amazing - full of tiny bars, cafes and chocolate shops!! Oh and I almost forgot the hotel has a fantastic roof terrace, 9th floor. Amazing!

Of course Paris is expensive - but it is worth every penny.

Room Tip: If possible ask for a high room with balcony - 6th floor or higher.

Ok, I know what you're thinking. Holiday Inn and Paris: are you nuts? Discard the idea of what you may think and trust the TA reviews.

The hotel is nice, modern well appointed smaller hotel. The rooms have super comfy beds and ours had a view of the Eiffel Tower. A definate must if you ask me. The bathrooms were tiny, but very nice. The rooms are small, but typical for Paris. We traveled with our kids 10 and 13 so we had to get 2 rooms, but they were next to each other so not that big of a deal. Hard to find rooms that accomodate 4 in the locations we want to stay.

The front desk staff was outstanding and spoke great English. They were always well staffed and ready to help with anything you need.

The location is what really makes this such a score. It's located in the Latin Quarter which I think is the best area of Paris. Literally, I bet there are 100 restaurants, brasseries, tea salons, and quick eats within 4 blocks of the hotel. We stayed there 8 days and ate at a different restaurant for every meal. The Metro is just feet from the hotel, there's a little quickmart right next door to the hotel for a snacks or drinks which you can keep in your fridge in the room.

Really, this was one of the best trips we've had in recent memory with the hotel and location making the trip so great.

Room Tip: Eiffel Tower view room is a must.

Totally unexpected for a Holiday Inn, I was really pleased with the service, design, modern fittings, location and cleanliness of this hotel. Perfect for a business stay but also for a tourist stay in central Paris at a reasonable price. Breakfast is very good and, for once, fairly priced which is normally not the case in most hotels.

have just returned after a 3-night saty in the hotel. great from the minute we arrived - greeted by the friendly staff on reception. room was very nice - yes, it was quite small to be expected. it was large enough for what we needed, with ample storage space, v v comfy bed and pillows and a very modern bathroom with super shower. we did not eat in the hotel as there are numerous places for breakfast, lunch and dinner very close by. the location of the hotel is perfect! it is literally a 2-minute walk from the station of St Michel-Notre Dame. alos very good location for the main tourist areas - 45mins walk from Eiffel Tower, roughly the same as Champs Elysees, 20 mins walk from Mussee D'orsay and 15mins walk from the Louvre. All in all, i would defnitely recommend this hotel again! GREAT STAY!

This is a very nice clean, well maintined mondern hotel. Room was somewhat small but very comfortable. We watched the sunset from the rooftop bar and the view of Paris is amazing, a must see!! The staff was extremely courteous and very helpful. The location is good, within a short walk to Notre Dame cathedral, and the river. Lots of nice shops and good cafe's in this area as well. I would stay here again if I ever get back to Paris!

Room Tip: Hotel location is on a side street, so very little if any street noise
