“DEFINITELY ONE OF THE HIGHLIGHTS OF OUR HOLIDAY IN EUROPE”

Just what we wanted. A beautiful quiet apartment with all the trimmings right in the middle of Montmatre. This area is terrific, lots of great places to eat, fantastic shops with lots of artists doing their thing, The apartment is a credit to the owner who has all the information you require to make getting around Paris, where to eat locally, best boulangeries etc an easy accomplishment. I would definitely recommend this establishment to any discerning traveller. We felt that we had stayed in Paris and had a typically french experience. Highly recommend

“Ideal Paris location”

This is my third extended stay in Maeggie's beautiful Montmartre apartment. Parisienne residential, terrific restaurants, shops, bakeries, fishmonger and super markets (including Picaud) within easy walking distance. And three metro stations and several bus lines close by. You could walk to the Seine in about an hour. I could happily spend my whole 2-3 weeks there in the village of Montmartre. But temptation too great to see rest of Paris. You are spolt for great restaurants within metres of Maeggie's apartment - Chez Toinette, Tantes Jeanes and Miroir. Also a great jazz club nearby in Rue Lepic. Maeggie herself is divine and an expert in hospitality. One of the best things about this apartment - apart from its location - is the light. South-facing, the bedroom, living and dining rooms all receive heaps of sun and daylight. Plus they overlook the stunning treed garden.

Maeggie is an absolute professional and clearly knows what any guest would need for their stay whether it is for vacation or if one is diving straight into work meetings.
The apartment is full of windows, a beautiful desk and workspace if needed. The apartement feels as cozy as if it was your own home. Lovely dining, living and bedroom. A folder is provided listing numerous places to visit or dine in the area. Great tips.
Gorgeous gem tucked in the base of Montmartre.

“A Beautiful, Comfortable Apartment: Wonderful!”

My husband and I stayed with our young granddaughter. We had the bedroom, and she had a comfortable sofa bed in the living room. The place is just beautiful: light, airy and spacious. We had everything we needed, including well-equipped kitchen, coffee maker with "pods", a magnificent shower, CD-player and WiFi. Incredibly, given the neighborhood and tourists, the place was terrifically quiet in an exquisite inner courtyard.

The owner was gracious and eager to provide information that we needed. The apartment, linens and towels were clean. We felt confident about the place and about her efforts to ensure our safety and comfort.

“Close to everything”

Spent 6 days here and can recommend this unit. In a very secure complex and so close to Metro that travel is no issue ( 2 minutes walk to Blanche Metro station). Plenty of restaurants and bars close by (actually that could go for all of Paris!) and lots of supermarkets in the locale.

Flat itself was of good size and had everything needed if you want to self cater. Closest we came to that was using the microwave to heat a crepe. Complex is very neat and tidy and the gardens are a treat. It looks so much like the movies it sets your frame of mind. Could not work the TV but we were out late every night so that was not so issue. Despite being smack in the middle of Montmartre it was very quiet at night.

Maeggie was a great host (thanks for the welcome note and bottle of red) and she was in the upstairs apartment so good when we needed some help. She also organized the taxi to the airport and was very helpful throughout. Little bag of goodies on the desk with a heap of information and there are lots of books in English with tourist info. Free Wi-Fi was appreciated and was quick and always available. Paying by PayPal was quick and easy and payment was confirmed immediately by PayPal and by Maeggie within a couple of hours. When we booked the place we stayed at in England we had to transfer the money through the bank which was expensive and took more than 4 days for confirmation.

Up 2 flights of steep narrow stairs so bit of an issue if you cannot climb but that was the same in England so nothing unusual. Why didn't they make them bigger when they built the apartments in 1825!!

Fantastic area and place and would stay there again.
