This hotel is really charming, starting from the entrance all the way to the rooms.
Granted the rooms are quite small so if you're a family I would imagine this wouldnt be ideal.
Close to the hotel there's a variety of restaurants and shops, and if you're willing to walk then any direction will lead you to a landmark.
The breakfast is a bit expensive for aht they give you but as I said there is enough coffee shops close by to chose from.
The receptionists are all very helpful and friendly and always smiling (which is a change from the rest of Paris), the rooms are clean and well kept, however the bed wasnt as comfortable as I expected
All in all for the price you pay you get a good deal in the overall package, I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this hotel for any individual or couples travelling (but not families), as the kids would go crazy in the small space.

Room Tip: I would suggest that you ask for the higher rooms

Thank you for your opinion. Breakfast is optional and "a la carte". We believe that the pricing is very competitive knowing that you have endless coffee available and it starts at 7 € ! We are sorry to read that the bed did not meet your standards : it is a "Synchroflex" technology with memory matress, very cosy not hard neither too soft. We also agree that the Apostrophe is not really a family hotel but rather perfect for couples or business person. Location is wonderful and staff always ready to give their best.

We spent only one night at this boutique hotel but found it to be charming, welcoming and very comfortable. The staff made all of the difference: they were exceptionally helpful, friendly, and fascinating people. I got up especially early on our departure day to discuss poetry and literature with the night manager, Gino. Later, we discussed mountain climbing and life in Paris with Roman, the day manager.
Our room was small but delightfully decorated with a tromp l'oeille design of a man of letters. The bed and pillows were clean and very comfortable and the shower with its many spray heads was a techie's delight.

This was my second stay at the hotel. The staff are unfailingly friendly and very helpful. The hotel is very easy to get to from Gare du Nord (RER to Port Royal) and then a short walk. It is also in close proximity to Luxembourgh Gardens... and this time of year it was simply beautiful. I highly recommend a stay at Apostrophe.

Room Tip: The only reason I don't give the rooms a excellent rating is that although clean and beautiful...

We stayed on the 4th floor of this sweet, stylish hotel in the Remington (as in typewriter) room. It had a big jacuzzi style bathtub right in the room, a pleasure for the footsore--though one must be careful as there is no tub enclosure and you can easily splash water around. Quiet room, comfy bed, super friendly staff: we loved it all. And the proximity to the RER line made trips to & from the airport quick and easy.

We stayed at the Apostrophe for three nights over the Easter weekend. The hotel is small, very well kept, very clean with a lot of attention to detail.

Location:
5 minutes walk from the RER station Port Royal, which is around 30 mintes from CDG airport if you catch an express train.
Just off the Luxembourg Park, it is ideally located to discover the Rive Gauche and even beyond on foot, if, as was the case for the two of us, you like long walks (around 20 minute brisk walk to Notre Dame). There is also a metro station just around the corner if you need to give your feet a rest.

Room:
Our room "U" - rooms have letters instead of number (so you can guess the number of rooms is limited to the alphabet), was on the 4th floor, quiet (for Paris standards), and pretty stylish in a modern pop art kind of way (each room is different!) and big enough for the extended weekend luggage we had with us, definitely adequate compared to other Paris hotels. The bath "area" was very nice and openly integrated in the main room, the shower lovely. Free WiFi!

Breakfast:
We didn't try the hotel breakfast, as we prefer going to bakeries and cafes of which there is an abundance in the periphery of the Jardin Luxembourg. Try the traditional brioche at the "Bread and Roses" in St. Germain.

Service/Staff:
The type of high class personalised service you would expect from a small hotel like this. Poor Roman was on shift for most of the Easter weekend, it seems, however he made us feel very welcome, gave us ample advise when needed, made restaurant reservations etc. He also has an obvious talent for languages, but his high level of patience encouraged us to practice our French, which we really appreciated. Merci Roman.

Overall:
Great. Will definitely go there again and have already recommended the hotel to a colleague.
