Good place for quick business lunch and lovely drinks. This cafe is based in the heart of the Paris, Rue la Lafayette. I'm always coming back there and I can highly recommend!

We stumbled upon this restaurant having missed the breakfast slot we entered and were offered the lunch menu. Croque Monsieur was so tasty, lovely side salad really complimented the rich cheese. My husband got the burger and with every bite he murmured about how tasty it was. Loved the decor, lady serving us was polite, prompt and friendly. If you're in this beautiful part of Paris it's worth a visit.

We visited on a warm Monday night, the brasserie had a few tables occupied but we got to choose a table we liked.

We both had the fillet of beef with pepper sauce which were cooked perfectly and accompanied with delicious garlic potatoes. For dessert we shared the tart citron and creme brulee which were lovely.

I visited here late Sunday Evening, around 9pm July 2, there were 3 small tables in already eating, a typical French brasserie style. No one on the floor, we wondered through and found a member of staff making up tables and asked for a table of 2, he sat us immediately next to a couple seated at the window.
We were so hungry and eager to order, however this was a huge problem as my friend sitting opposite me at the table was now literally touching shoulders with the man in the window!
We asked for another table, he pointed to one in the middle walkway..... Not acceptable as this is where customers enter and anticipated waiters would be brushing past.
So we asked nicely if we could budge up one to the next table that he had just set, the waiter snapped " it's for four persons" he was rude and disinterested as he snapped another white table cloth out to continue setting up tables.
We were so appalled by such behaviour, we decided to leave and spend our money in another venue with pleasant staff that know how to function in a restaurant.
Maybe we were treated bad because we are English!
There is absolutely zero customer service in here, with a very dull and I inviting atmosphere, so I would advise you to save your hard earned money and find a better bistro that deserves your custom.

This brasserie, specially on sunday is a marvellous place to go and eat with your family. Typical french dishes, fresh french fries, very good profiterolles with hot chocolate sauce....
This is the place to be if you want to find the traditionnal french way of eating.
